Chapter 2: Chapter 2 DROPPING A BOMB
“F**k, why today?” Tessa groaned, looking helpless and scared.
But then taking a few deep breaths, she started to prep her skin and then took a quick shower, she chose the most decent and expensive dress she had bought recently, a sea blue color dress that matches her eyes.
Putting on some mascara and gloss, her face’s glow came back to life, She sighed thankfully and then combed her hair nicely as she put on a blue color hair band matching her outfit. She looked at her appearance in the mirror, the pleated knee-length dress has a polyester fabric, round neck, and short sleeves, the broad waist panel looked ideal for a cinched look.
Then thinking of something missing, she took out a brown leather belt from her wardrobe and put it on.
“Perfect!” She said with a satisfied smile and then putting on the matching brown sandals, she walked out of her room confidently.
Tessa is the older child in the house and Cyril is her younger brother. Their parent loves them both a lot, Tessa has always been a responsible child even when she has just completed school and celebrated her 18th birthday a few days before.
She always helps her mother at work because she needs to give lots of time to her youngest brother, Cyril, who had been diagnosed with a kidney tumor. And thanks to Miss Swan who paid for his medical bills otherwise they wouldn’t be able to keep their son alive with them.
Cyril is only 12 years old, too young for cancer but thankfully Miss Swan had appeared like an angel. The Wills Family are deeply indebted to Miss Swan’s favor of greatness.And today for the first time in their lives she has visited their home-they all wants to give her a good impression.
Tessa was nervous and scared too to meet Miss Swan after all she is the woman who cannot get pleased and also Miss Swan was the lady whom she admired since her childhood.

Tessa could feel her palms starting to sweat-she was supposed to meet her in a more ideal condition.
Getting near the living room, her heart suddenly started to bounce in her chest and her limbs got heavy from the nervousness but still with shaking legs she reached the living room with the tray in her hand shaking mildly.
“Oh, here is Tessa, my sweet daughter.” Mr. Dylan immediately took the tray from his daughter’s hand and then pulled her to stand in front of Madam Boss.
Tessa didn’t dare to look up at her directly as she kept her eyes lowered on her expensive shining heels.
“Greet the Madam Boss, Tessa.” Her father’s voice came from behind and Tessa immediately nodded her head in embarrassment and greeted the lady politely with her head lowered still.
“Miss Swan.” She couldn't help holding the side of her dress in nervousness.
Madam Boss looked her up and down, as though she was looking at the piece of thing, not a living person.
If Tessa sneaked a glance up, it's easy to see that the lady's eyes were shining with excitement and her face showed the satisfaction of getting a thing that she wanted.
“I like her, she’s perfect.” She commented, as if agreeing to a deal.
Mr. Will immediately nodded while letting out a sigh of relief. Tessa also let out a breath unconsciously.
“Dylan, I am taking her out with me, I hope you don’t have any problem with it.” she said.
It wasn’t a question but a statement.
“Yes, madam, as you like.” Mr. Will immediately nodded his head in acceptance as expected.
“Good, I will leave then.” And just like that, Madam Boss stood up and walked out of the house, leaving Tessa and her mother looking at each other with surprise and disappointment. Miss Swan didn’t even look at the feast they had prepared for her and also she never regarded her mother and her brother too.
So then why was Miss Swan here, for Tessa?
“Tess, what are you waiting for, go and accompany Miss Swan," Tessa’s train of thoughts was interrupted when her father’s voice rang into her ears, "Remember, don’t say anything to her. Just stay obedient and nod your head whatever she says or chooses for you.”
“But... where is she taking me, Dad?” Tessa asked confusedly.
“I don’t know about it either. Just stay obedient to whatever she says.” her father answered with a plain face.
Tessa again stared at him in confusion, this isn’t the answer to her question, her stare made Mr. Will uncomfortable.
“She… She has proposed the marriage proposal of her brother, Mr. Andrew Jack to Tessa," Mr. Will paused and then revealed a shocking news to Tessa and her mother.
"If everything goes well, you two will get married in a week in a private ceremony.”
