"-ra, you should hurry! The coven is closing on us!" The woman stood tall despite all the injuries that marked her body, as she gave the smaller girl a calm smile.

"I won't! How can you ask me to leave?!" The girl cried as she pulled on the woman's tattered cloak harder.

"No! I will not go without you. I won't lose another person. There- there's still a way! We can save them! I- I am sure of it. So please help me Rence! I need you!" She sobbed, her own injuries making her slow down as they both continued running.

The coven of witches followed them tightly.

"Yes, that is exactly why you should hurry. You can save them, and I do not love them enough to work hard for them. You know how lazy I am, don't you?" The woman chuckled, as she pulled on the girl's hand, stopping in front of the dead end.
