Chapter 39: What the hell!

“Yawn!” Art woke up while cleaning a drop of tears from his eyes. He hoped today would be as interesting as yesterday.

Well, that’s to be expected as the big guns would be fighting each other today.

After freshening up, Art walked out from the toilet while whistling. He didn’t seem worried or nervous to be matched with potentially strong people.

It was time for the second stage of the contest to begin and to his surprise when the first match was announced, he was the first in line and his opponent seemed familiar.

After putting in some thought he remembered. He was Frigga’s partner in the group stage.

“He must find it rough to be among the first fighters of both stages,” Art shook his head.

“I believe I have about 30 minutes to get rea…”

Before he could complete his speech, he got teleported and the next place he found himself was in the middle of the arena.

He blinked several times to make sure he wasn’t seeing things but this was reality.
