Chapter 17.
Vs. Team Rocket. _____________________________________________________________________________
"No. There isn't any Pokémon that can speak according to my database." Pokedex replied to Ash.
"What team are you again?" Ash asked as he forgot while looking at talking Meowth.
"It's Team Rocket." James and Jessie said.
"Team Rocket!!" Ria started to look at James and Jessie with the intent to kill.
"That team! It had once almost enslaved legendary Pokémon. And also, who steals Pokémon to experiment." Ash finally understood who they were.
Enslaving is different from catching a Pokémon. If trainers catch a Pokémon, it can still express anything freely, like Pikachu's dislike of Ash at the beginning, but enslaving means treating Pokémon like objects; enslaved Pokémon trainers punish Pokémon if they fail to do the said commands. Enslaved Pokémon cannot go against their trainers no matter what.
Enslaved Pokémon almost all Pokémon are killed due to a single error in the following command or due to the anger, and frustration of trainers.
Even Ash heard about team rocket, so one can imagine how cruel the organization is.
Team Rocket always stays headlines for news channels, from killing to experiments on Pokémon and People.
Team Rocket has a significant hand in crimes in the Kanto region however, Pokémon Police always failed to catch them.
"That's enough. Ekans use wrap." Jessie let out her Ekans and ordered it to fight.
"It is a purple, serpentine Pokémon. Its eyes, underbelly, the thick stripe around its neck, and rattle are yellow."
"It has three pairs of black lines encircling its body, as well as another line that connects to each slit-pupiled eye and curves toward its nose. Its large mouth has a round, pink tongue and no visible teeth. "
"While painful, a new-born Ekans's bite is not venomous. This Pokémon grows longer with age. the longer it grows. At night, it wraps its long body around tree branches to rest." Silver's Pokedex stated as Silver pointed it towards Ekans.
"Ekanssss, Ekanssss."
Ekans quickly rushes towards Ash to attack; as Ash is near them, he was scanning Meowth with Pokedex.
"Pikachu use quick attack." Ash commands Pikachu to counter, who is looking at Meowth like you are amazing as it spoke just now.
Pikachu jumps from Ash's shoulder and runs at high speed toward Ekans.
Some afterimages can be seen due to speed. Meanwhile, Ekans was also rushing toward Pikachu, seeing it coming forward.
Pikachu is faster than Ekans. It quickly got near Ekans and attacked its body with its head making Ekans slide backwards.
"Ekansssssss." Ekans hissed due to pain.
"Pikachu use thunderbolt." Ash said as Ekans slid backwards, and there was a small distance between them that makes difficult to dodge the attack.
"Pikaaacchuuuu." Pikachu's small red circle on its cheeks generated a little thunder spark at the beginning. After a second Pikachu's entire body was quickly covered with golden light as Pikachu launched a thick golden light towards Ekans. In the next second, the Ekans were hit by this golden light.
"Ekaaaanssssss." Ekans is hissing as it gets zapped.
Pikachu didn't stop its attack.
"CHuuuu." Pikachu is still releasing golden light.
"Ekans. You brat" Jessie is angry at Ash for injuring her Pokémon.
"Don't worry, Jessie. Koffing use dark pulse on that brat's Pokémon." James stopped Jessie from getting angry and ordered his Pokémon Koffing to fight by letting it out from its Pokeball.
"Koffing is a spherical Pokémon filled with toxic gases. It has vacant eyes and a wide mouth that usually has two pointed teeth in the upper jaw, the Poison Gas Pokémon. Koffing hovers in the air, thanks to the poisonous gases it contains, which have a foul odour and can explode." Silver's Pokedex stated as Silver pointed it towards Koffing.
"No. You don't. Growlithe use flame thrower." Finally, Officer Jenny let out her Pokémon as well.
Before, Officer Jenny and no one from the gang fought with Ash against Jessie because it wasn't a double Pokémon battle.
"Growlithe, the Puppy Pokémon. Growlithe are very loyal and won't move unless their Trainer commands it." Silver pointed his Pokedex at Growlithe.
"Koffing, Koffffff." Koffing pumped some smoke from its body and started to generate a dark light beam from its mouth.
"Groo." Growlithe opened its mouth and spat an orange-coloured beam of flames at Koffing.
Koffing's dark beam of light collided with Growlithe's beam of flames. Due to the clash, some smoke rose.
At the same time, Ekans was totally burned black with emitting smoke.
"Eeekkkk." Ekans is totally worn out but is still standing.
"Pikaaa." Pikachu is panting as it attacks Ekans with a thunderbolt without stopping for a half minute.
"Hey! You should take Ekans back." Ria stated to Jessie. Ekans should faint due to that attack, but it stood up due to its will to fight.
"Ekans now has electric burns and you still want it to fight. This will cause heavy injuries to it." Ria warned Jessie.
"Stop it brat. Ekans use Acid." Jessie commanded the worn-out Pokémon disregarding Ria's warning. Seeing this, Ria didn't say anything more.
Ekans opened its mouth and spat out the purple-coloured liquid in the direction of Pikachu.
"Pikachu dodge it with quick attack." Ash commanded.
Pikachu runs at high speed, which allows it to dodge Acid.
Where the purple-coloured liquid fell, the materials on the spot melted like ice, and the ground also gained the purpled coloured deep stain hole.
"Pikaa." Pikachu jumped up due to shock, witnessing the power of the attack.
"Keep on using acid." Jessie said to Ekans, seeing the efficiency of this attack.
Ekans opened its mouth and continued to spit out the purple-coloured liquid in the direction of Pikachu.
"Pikachu dodge with quick attack." Ash said to Pikachu as this attack looked dangerous.
Pikachu runs at high speed and easily dodges every purple liquid attack.
'Pikachu is easily dodging them all, but its speed is decreasing.' Silver understood that Pikachu is getting tired.
"Ash, finish the battle quickly. Pikachu is getting tired." Silver said to Ash.
"Pikachu use thunderbolt." Ash didn't understand what Silver meant by that but still followed Silver's words.
Pikachu stopped and got ready to use thunderbolt. It cannot use thunderbolt efficiently while running. Pikcahu requires more training for doing that.
"Pikaa." Pikachu's small red circle on its cheeks generated a little thunder spark at the beginning, but quickly, Pikachu's entire body was covered with golden light as Pikachu launched a thick golden light towards Ekans.
"Ekans now use acid with all your might." Jessie commanded, seeing Pikachu stop a chance to win.
"Ekannsss." Ekans opened its mouth and made a few sounds from its throat as it spits purple colour liquid that was bigger than before at Pikachu.
Pikachu's thunderbolt hit the Ekans just after it used Acid by piercing through the Acid.
"Ekanss." Ekans had circled in their eyes and fell to the ground.
