(A/N: Not going to lie, did not see this chapter going this way when I started it. Just kind of went with it about half way in.)
(Ryan POV)
His eyes were wide as he looked at Meredith, she had only really yelled like this when she was yelling at her mother, so he knew that she was upset about not knowing what was going on. He couldn't understand why either, sure he liked to joke around and she knew that, but she seemed to genuinely hate not knowing this time.
The glare she was throwing Addison though seemed to clue him in on a little what was going on, "Mer, calm down really. I got hurt last night doing....things and Addison here wouldn't let me go home without a check up. You can even join if you want."
"That won't be necessary, as my interns should have been waiting for me by the nurses station as I told them to be!" An clipped angry voice said making everyone.look over.
A short African American woman was glaring at said interns who all began to fidget under her stare, everyone else who was around them scrambled, apparently she commanded a lot of respect, or they were just afraid of her. He also caught some guy staring at him, his deep blue eyes kept looking between Addison and Him, not that he cared.
"But Dr. Bailey--" Meredith tried.
"'Dr. Bailey nothing! This man is a patient here and what Addison needs to check him over for is none of your business Grey, I don't care who you sleep with but that drama should be kept out the hospital." The now named Dr. Bailey said while also shooting him a glare.
"Gross!" Meredith and Ryan said at the same time their faces scrunched up, "She is my cousin, please refrain from stating things you don't know as facts." Ryan said while scowling at Dr. Bailey who had the decency to look a little ashamed.
"I'm sorry you are right, now my interns follow me. Except you Christina, you are with Montgomery-Shepard today so you can stay." Dr. Bailey said before turning and having her interns follow her, all hut Meredith and Christina.
"Don't worry Mer, I will let you know everything." Christina said with a hand on Meredith's arm.
Meredith nodded before glaring at Ryan, "You will come over tonight and tell me everything... And I mean everything, do not make me drive to you and drag you back to Seattle!"
Ryan smirked leaning over to kissing her forehead, "I'll even cook you dinner while telling you everything."
Her glare broke as a wide smile went over her face, "I'm off at 7, do not leave the city."
With that the four of them watched her practically skip away, "You're cooking must be something, I have never seen Meredith smile like that." Christina said drawing all eyes to her.
"Well if you are there then you can have some too. Now Dr. Montgomery---- Holy crap no, that is a mouth full, Addison can we get this over with." Ryan said not wanting to say her full last name again.
She chuckled nodding her head, "Yeah come on, Dr. Torres will be meeting us at the MRI."
"Oooh medical speak, that's hot, do you know any Dr?" Ryan asked turning to Christina who smirked some while Addison laughed hitting his arm.
"Umm Addison, can we talk?" The other doctor who stuck around asked while shooting Ryan a look.
Ryan mock whispered as he leaned over to the still unnamed doctor to him, "Uh Oh, someone is in trouble. I know that tone."
The doctor next to him laughed but covered her mouth as the other two shot them a look, Ryan looked away whistling as if he hadn't said anything. When they walked a little away to talk Ryan turned back to her, "So name?"
"I'm Christina Yang or Dr. Yang, Meredith's best friend, though she hasn't talked a lot about you. First I am hearing of a cousin." She said looking him up and down.
He nodded, "Figured, Meredith is a private person. We were super close when we were younger too, but after she went off to college well..." He shrugged not really knowing why they talked less.
Christina just nodded looking him over, "So who beat you up?"
Ryan chuckled liking her bluntness, "You should see the other guy."
"That's what the loser always says."
He gave her a big feral grin which no doubt would have looked a lot more menacing if he was a wolf at the moment, "Trust me, in this case the other guy is a as good as dead, I am the winner."
Ryan saw her step back some from the crazed smile he gave her, Addison came back at that moment looking at them both a moment before saying, "Come along you two, I have a C-section in two hours so we need to get you scanned and checked in."
"Checked in?! That wasn't the deal, I was suppose to just get a check up and go home!" Ryan whined, but he really was not a fan of hanging out at hospitals all day, he already had to hang around the city for Meredith and Leah would be yelling at him since he was missing a dinner.
"Tough cookie, you are going to be fully examined and..."
That was all Ryan heard as he ran, he didn't know where he was going but he ran, he saw Christina go wide eyed but she was to shocked to say anything as he escaped into the stairwell. Smiling to himself he went up two floors before walking out, he walked out to what was apparently the pediatrics ward as some kids were walking around.
Going down the hall some he saw a play room where some kids were messing with things, smiling he walked in, "Well hello there kiddos." Every head on the room turned to look at him smiling.

(Addison POV, not many more of these..Maybe)
"Tough cookie, you are going to be fully examined and you are going to relax until you have to leave to that dinner with Meredith, is that understood?" She said as she kept walking forward but looked back when she heard nothing.
All she saw standing there was her intern who had her mouth hanging open, "Yang, where is Ryan?" She asked her brows furrowed in confusion.
Christina came back to reality as she shook her head, "Ummm, he ran. One moment he was here, then after you told him he was staying he was gone. I honestly have never seen someone move so fast."
Addison groaned as she held her forehead, "This is not how I expected to start my day. Look can you go prep my patient for me while I try to find him, I do not think this will be easy."
Seeing Christina nod she walked off, she needed to get him checked out because despite what he was saying she was sure that he was hurting. As much as it sucked she knew she would need to go and talk to Meredith, it was her cousin after all so she would know how to find her cousin.
It didn't take long to find her as she was on her husband's service, of course she was, "Meredith, I am having a little trouble. I told Ryan he would need to be examined and put in a bed, but he bolted. Do you know where he might be?"
She watched as Meredith muttered something while shaking her head, "No, with Ryan he could be anywhere. He hates Lawyers offices and Hospitals, and when confined to them, well that is just chaos waiting to happen. At this point he could be doing anything."
"Well he can't be doing much, I mean, he is hurt." Addison said ignoring her husband who was watching the play by play.
Meredith though shook her head, "No, you obviously don't know Ryan like I do, this place is going to be a warzone. And he will not go down without a fight. Come on, you too Derek, we will need everyone."
Both Shepard's looked at Meredith as if she was crazy but they followed her none the less.

(Meanwhile Ryan POV)
"I won't lie to you troops, this battle will be tough, not all of us will make it out of here alive. But I can promise you I will tell your loved ones of your bravery on this day, that I can promise you." Ryan said as he marched in front of the six to seventeen year olds that were standing at attention for him.
"Sir General Sir! How many should we expect?" A kid who looked to be about thirteen asked stepping forward.
Ryan stroked his chin as he walked over to his 'throne' which was behind them all, "Hmm, maybe ten more if this is done correctly. But my promise still stands, if we do this correctly then we should all gain our wishes of ice cream and whatever else we desire."
"General Sir, are you sure this is okay?" A timid girl asked as she looked at him a little unsure, she was one of the older ones, maybe sixteen near his age.
"Of course! Now stand tall men and women, I hear them approaching, everyone to battle stations!" He commanded sweeping his hand out at them.
They all moved forward getting in place right as Meredith, Addison, Christina and more Doctors all got to the door, "Ryan, what are you---"
"Fire!" He shouted breaking off whatever Meredith was about to say.
At his command he kids began throwing all the toys at the doctors, not everything but enough to get some hiding behind others and others running away to the nurses station. Not as if the toys actually hurt or anything, they were soft so they did no real damage as they flew at the doctors.
