Chapter 7: Chapter 7

The second thing I did was to examine their ninja curriculum, which was akin to that of the Leaf, but abbreviated to expedite the production of genin, even though they prohibited students who couldn't use Genjutsu or ninjutsu from enrolling the number of children enrolling the ninja academy and making it genin was higher than the leaf of Hiruzen Sarutobi.

The third thing I did was to delve into the realm of tactics and strategy. By studying various military principles and tactics, I wished to gain an edge in battles and conflicts if I was ambushed in the war, knowing their tactics would allow me to escape or prepare myself more easily if necessary. For instance, I learned that many small villages prefer the concept of 'divide and conquer,' which involves breaking up larger opposing forces into smaller, more manageable groups that can be defeated more easily. On the contrary, the five big villages prefer fortified positions, ambushes, and flanking maneuvers. They also utilize a wide array of weapons, including swords, spears, and bows, along with defensive tools like shields and armor. However, what truly set the five villages apart from other villages was their extensive use of ninja techniques on the battlefield. They deployed highly trained ninjas who were skilled in using ninjutsu such as fire release, water release, earth release, and wind release depending on the battlefield. These techniques allowed them to launch devastating attacks on their enemies, create barriers for defense, and even manipulate the environment around them. In addition, they possessed more ninja units with medical ninja skills, who were responsible for providing medical assistance to injured soldiers on the battlefield, and intelligence-gathering ninjas, who gathered information about enemy movements and strategies.

The fourth thing I did was to delve into the book relating to ninja weaponry and tools. I studied various books and manuals that taught me how to handle different kinds of weapons, such as shuriken, kunai, swords, and other ninja tools at a novice novel. I also learned about the art of setting traps and using them to my advantage in combat situations leading me to delve into the more unconventional aspects of ninja training, such as flower arranging. This may seem like an odd choice for a ninja, but the practice of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) has deep roots in Kunoichi and civilian practice for all villages. It requires precision, focus, and attention to detail, all of which are valuable skills for a woman/ninja to possess.

The fifth thing I did was study the utilization of chakra and hand seals. Chakra, as I previously mentioned(chapter 1), is a form of energy derived from the physical and spiritual energy within a ninja's body. It allows them to perform incredible feats of agility, strength, and endurance(Lee, Gai..), and to use a wide variety of ninja techniques or jutsu(five natures). One crucial point to note is that chakra can be manipulated in many ways, depending on various factors innate or acquired, bloodlines can be considered both innate and acquired, people like the Uchiha have an innate fire chakra nature due to their bloodlines but the Sharingan can be acquired. This allows a ninja to tailor their jutsu to their specific abilities and strengths. On the other hand, hand seals allow ninjas to control and manipulate their chakra flow with precision by shaping and focusing to create a wide range of effects. They are often necessary to perform ninjutsu. With sufficient training, it is possible to perform jutsu without the need for complex hand seals, making them more efficient and deadly in combat.

Finally, I proceeded to skim through several books to broaden my knowledge in different areas of ninja techniques. First, I delved into the book of taijutsu, which is the physical aspect of ninja combat. Covering techniques such as punches, kicks, throws, and joint locks, among others. Although it was basic for many it helped me to understand the difference between the martial art practiced on earth and here.

Next, I studied all the scrolls of Ninjutsu techniques the library had, the art of ninjutsu techniques involves the manipulation of chakra by hand seal but despite it, I know that some techniques could be practiced using my own body (Hachimon/Eight gates)or without hand sign (Rasengan...). These scrolls also covered a wide range of techniques, such as summons, among others.

I went through the book of genjutsu, the art of creating illusions to deceive the enemy. Despite my inability to use it, I know that one day I would have the control necessary, and if not then knowing how they worked could help to defend against their uses. In this process, I discovered why Itachi's Genjutsu techniques were so feared. Genjutsu can be used to create visual and auditory illusions, among others. I wondered if it was possible to create sounds- genjutsu using ultrasound.

I also delved into the realm of medical ninjutsu, which involves using chakra to heal and provide medical treatment. This exploration led me to practice chakra control exercises and learn about the anatomy, physiology, and herbal medicine of this world.

In addition, I delved into the principles of nature's transformation. This involves manipulating chakra to transform it into various elemental forms, including fire, water, lightning, wind, and earth. I wondered if it was possible to combine different nature transformations to create kekkei genkai, such as Wood Release (Earth-Water) or Ice Release (Wind-Water). However, I quickly abandoned this idea because I knew that the ninjas of other villages were not foolish. I however didn't completely dismiss the notion thinking that maybe my rebirth in this world or my knowledge of the existence of natural energy would allow me to do it.

Overall, the past three months of training have been intensive and challenging, but incredibly rewarding. I have as much strength as a chunin of Amegakure but I don't have as much experience as them in a ninja fight leaving me on the losing end when they use unknown techniques. I have however no problem fighting a dozen of Genin thanks to my Uzumaki stamina. I realized that my training has only scratched the surface of what it means to be a skilled ninja. While I have gained a lot of time thanks to my foreknowledge and my past abilities, I still have a lot to learn. I was not like Naruto and Sasuke who went from genin to super-kage in three years. I will need to continue training and seeking out new experiences and challenges to grow stronger and more competent. But I have something they didn't have, drive knowledge and war.

In the meantime, I have also been considering the next steps in my journey. I know that I cannot remain hidden forever, and I will eventually need to face the reality of the dangerous world I am a part of. However, I am not sure what my next move should be. I could seek out allies and join a village, but I am hesitant to put my trust in others. Alternatively, I could strike out on my own, but that would mean taking on even more risk. Anyways I left this question in suspense knowing that a lot could change in two years.

I had acquired the following skills:

The "Mystic Palm Jutsu", a healing technique that involves channeling chakra to injured areas for accelerated recovery. It can also eliminate toxins from the body and diagnose injuries.

The "Rain Clone" and "Water Clone" jutsu, creating clones out of water.

The "Water Crafting Jutsu", enabling the manipulation of a small amount of water into various shapes.

The "Hidden Fog technique", similar to the "Hidden Mist technique" used by Zabuza.

I also learned to use Senbon with some help from Amefumi. It took some time to get used to the thin needles, but I quickly adapted and became proficient in using them. I can now aim and throw them accurately, making them a deadly weapon in my arsenal. I also practiced stealth techniques and improved my sensory abilities at the same time. He had been a great help in my training, so as a token of my gratitude, I informed him of my theory about the reason for his capture - that Knoha had planned a war. However, I also made it clear to him that this information was unreliable since I had heard from his uncle that his death was a plan formulated by one of Konoha's elders named Danzo to manipulate Hanzo, mixing 10 % lies and 90% of truth is the best way to make them believe me. At first, he didn't believe me, and I could sense that his father, Hanzo was becoming increasingly furious with me for suggesting such a thing. However, when a ninja relayed that a Konoha ninja attacked him, I could tell that he was taken aback by the news. From what I could gather by hearing the servant It turned out that Knoha had been secretly gathering weapons and troops for years. My warning had allowed them to prepare and defend themselves, potentially saving many lives. So despite his initial anger, Hanzo eventually came to see the value in my information and thanked me for speaking up.

After this incident, he started to persistently ask me to accept him as my master, recognizing my potential intelligence despite having never seen my training. Upon careful consideration of the situation, I agreed to accept him as my master, but only under three conditions.

The first condition was that I had the right to refuse any mission he assigned to me. This was important to me because it allowed me to maintain my autonomy and integrity. It also prevented me from being forced to do anything that went against my principles or values. After three months in this village, I heard enough about how kunoichis were used in missions to not dream about sleeping with virgin beauties.

The second condition was that I had the freedom to leave the village whenever I wanted. In my past life, my demise was caused by someone I trusted and looked up to - my superior in the hierarchy because I knew too many things about the organization. I was never in control of my life but in this life, I will be dammed before I let anyone show me how to live. In a sense, my story reminded me of Sakumo Hatake but I was not like him in this life. Even if I have to kill all the world I would never serve under anyone. It also allowed me to pursue my own goals and ambitions without being tied down by any obligations to the village or my master.

Finally, the third condition was that my master would support me in all of my endeavors. This condition was significant because it showed that my master believed in my potential and was willing to invest in my future. If he refused then it showed that he was seeing me as a second Orichimaru prepared to forsake my Humanity for power. Although it was difficult to have him agree we reached a compromise. As long as I present him with a detailed plan of my idea then we could discuss it.
