I didn't leak Oliver's condition to the rest of the pack, the only people I called over were Rocco, the elders, my father and Penelope, who came along with Wendy on my request. If Valerie was in her, she could somehow help with unveiling the truth.

And then, there was Louis, the only other witness to what happened.

They were waiting for me in the lobby, Oliver's operation was concluded three hours ago, and ever since I had been with him, secluding myself from everyone else, thinking about the chain of events so far.

My thoughts were penetrated when I got a call from Carol, I quickly answered, knowing she was definitely calling in regards to Kian.
