Hello there readers! This story is one of my first ventures into writing and my first ever fanfiction. The first volumes of this story will take place a century before the start of the original Against the Gods novel and will mostly focus on Orochimaru making a foothold in the world.
Updates will be two chapters once per week. This may increase as my writing abilities grow. But for now, in order to maintain the quality of the writing and plot this is the best I can do.
As a frustrated reader myself; I've seen too many botched ATG fanfics with horrible plots or grammar. I aim to correct this in my novel as a native English speaker.
What readers can expect is:
Sect/kingdom building
Human experimentation.
Human rights violations
Child soldiers
Large scale Massacres.
Evil Main character
Overpowered Character
I have no intention of making Orochimaru a good person overtime or an antihero. I wish to write what I think a mad scientist like Orochimaru would do if he was let loose in a cultivation universe.

Really a good novel for orochimaru, so far pretty good. I personally recommend making the 4 people group thing the guys who brought Sasuke to Orochimaru
Orochimaru is the one of my favourite character to be a main character in any other fanfic. Because the author and the reader know how much crazy scientist he is. And because that we can have a close replica of the og Orochimaru in any fandom the author choose to put him into. So the author can polished their narative side of writing and world building to match his obsession with immortality. And so far none of them dissapoint me except the hiatus with no schedule to be back or dropped. Hopefully you could finish it Author-san

I've been looking for a fanfiction like this! There aren't many chapters yet but so far things are looking good! I have'nt spotted any errors yet and it isn't an op self-insert! i hope the auther keeps writing!
The plot is him researching or building his city, but it's not that interesting. Chakra in a different world is illogical, it would have been more reasonable to get better control or create purer profound energy by merging spiritual energy, natural energy, and soul energy, but fails to explain how these energies differ from ordinary profound energy. And why does he need hand seals to control his energy when he could simply focus on improving his profound arts and increase cultivation speed? He has chakra points, instead of special meridians or soul-based abilities such as soul force or body-switching that he could use to switch bodies and join a sect. He creates and uses Jutsu, sealing abilities, nature transformation, instead of profound arts, that is not realistic and interesting, explanations about experiments are missing or don't make much sense. He could get techniques from the imprisoned but doesn't, even if they are low-level cultivators they should have some secrets and information about the world, the information he might get is now shown. Beast taming, looking for talents, and resource mining are missing.
Nice ATG and Naruto ff. Author really shows us what orochimaru will looks like if he reincarnated or transmigrated to the cultivation world. I read some orochimaru ff but they really change orochimaru obvious character. A classic evil Orochimaru 👍👍 The only downside is the update 😞😞

Nice story. The grammar is way above the webnovel standard and the sentences raed nicely. I'am hyped for the upcoming chapters. Definetely a story to throw your powerstones at.
