Chapter 11: Trap
I walked towards the pillars and arrived at the northern one.
There were huge words carved into the pillar.
It was
"The Third Demon King"
Reading this, I was shocked.
It seems this pace is related to not just the strongest demon king but to all.
I walked to all the pillars, and similar words were written just with different numbers.
Finally, I was in front of two pillars. I also saw that there was a transparent orb there, and I knew what it was.
But first, I read the words on the two pillars.
"The First Demon King"
"The Twelfth Demon King"
The Twelfth Demon King is the last and strongest demon king.
I didn't know what to do except for one thing.
I walked towards the orb and touched it.
The orb changed its color and turned to pure darkness.
Indicating I had the talent for the darkness element.
The orb changes from bright brown to bright red.
before losing all its color.
Indicating I had an affinity with the darkness, wood, and fire elements.
Elements were what most determined the future of a being.
The skill one poses vastly depends on their elemental affinity.
Fire,Water,Wind,Earth,Wood,Metal,Lightning, Light, and Darkness
They were the nine elements.
When a person touches an orb, the brighter it becomes, meaning the more talent one has with that element.
And darkness being just the opposite.
Elric had the highest talent in darkness, wood, and fire.
Suddenly, the first pillar started to crumble, and the rest of the pillar followed suit.
I couldn't help but feel worried as I raised my guard.
Eleven skeletons revealed themselves from each of the pillars.
All of them were floating for just a second before falling.
But I ignored all of the skeletons as I saw the floating body, which was revealed when the twelfth pillar was broken.
The body had skin that was not human covered in scars.
It was hidous to look at.
It looked like the person was a demon itself.
Well, he was.
I took some steps back from the body, as I could feel the pressure from it.
Suddenly,black lights started appearing it.
I could feel that death was coming towards me.
But I did my best to remain calm after all; there was not much I could do right now.
The black light masked and distorted the form of the body.
"Hmmmmm.
A human.
Huh."
I heard a horse's voice.
"Well whatever.
Human being since you have crumbeled the pillars, which means you have a very high affinity for Darkness Element.
Now let me tell you,
Currently, you are in the graveyard of the demon kings.
Before I was killed, I used artifacts to save a part of my soul.
Even that fu*king hero was not able to do anything.
But what you have just done has detroyed the pillars directly deactivating the protecrion, making it just a place that would be found any second now.
You have no way to get out except for to follow me.
And if you are thinking of waiting for escape you should know that you will be dead the moment they see you here.
So,tell me, Are you going to accept what I am about to give?"
I nodded.
Obviously, I didn't believe his word, but currently I was hopeless and helpless.
I could only curse the system for giving me two paths, both of which led to death.

Suddenly, black chains from the former position where pillars wrapped my body appeared.
I could feel my body burning and the chain getting tighter.
That was also when I heard the voice.
