Chapter 1: CHAPTER ONE
Running through the wet forest, Naomi didn't know where to run to. These strange men were chasing her and she didn't know who they were. She began to cry and regret. If she had known, she would have listened to her mother but it was too late to regret now since the deeds were already done. She continued to run as her life depends on it.
"Catch her!. Make sure she doesn't get away". Shouted the pursuers as they chased after her. She ran till her legs gave out and she fell down flat on the ground making them catch up with her.
"Please I beg you. Don't kill me". She said crying as they laughed at her. Just look at her. Said what seemed to be the leader of the group as he bent down to her level. Begging doesn't suit princess and your voice isn't pleasing to hear. He said as naomi cried. What is it you want? Is it money, my mum would give it to you. Lot's of it. Anything you ask take it but please don't kill me. She pleaded as the men laughed. I also promise not to tell the police or report any of this. She said with all seriousness. Aww! Is that so. He asked laughing before he became serious. The thing princess is that we don't need your money. We have already been paid to kill you and that's what we would do. So don't make it hard and just die peacefully. He said as naomi began to shout for help. There's no need shouting. No one would hear you. He stood up looking at his men. Kill her. He commanded.
"If I were you I won't do that". A voice said as everyone turned. There stood a man in his full glory resting behind a tree. He looked so less concerned. What is it to you? The leader asked but the man didn't say anything. Just run along kid. This isn't a place for you. He said. Kid? The man asked. If he was angry about that he didn't show. Don't you think you're not supposed to be here considering how old you are. You should be in bed if you really don't want to die. Old people complain a lot. Take it from someone who knows more about them. He said freely making the leader so angry. Leave here right this minute. I won't warn you. He warned. Ok. Fine. I'll go but not without her. He said as the goons all began to laugh. Then it looks like you're seriously asking for a death wish. He said ordering his men to kill the stranger. Naomi really didn't know what was happening but before she could grasp the situation, all the men were on the ground whimpering. What's going on? She asked dizzily. The last thing she remembered before fainting was the stranger telling her "I gotcha".

She looked around trying to remember what had happened and where she was. It took her three minutes to remember what happened the previous night. She stood up trying to figure out where the stranger went to. Stranger! She called going out only to see him chopping woods. Damn.. he's hot. She thought shamelessly admiring him. Take a pics. It would last longer. He said as she regained herself. Sorry? She asked. Since your awake, you should leave. He said not looking at her. Leave! She exclaimed. Dear Lord! She exclaimed looking at him. Don't be like that. She said going to where he was. You should at least let me thank you. She said as he rolled his eyes. She was really a drama queen. He thought. Then apologize and leave. He said going back to his wood chopping. Thanks for saving me and sorry for the inconveniences. She said. There's no need for that. He said still not leaving his work. Naomi took it as an opportunity to say something as she clamped her hands together. So before I go, why don't you tell me your name? She asked as he paused what he was doing trying to observe her to know what she was thinking. What are you up to? He asked. Nothing. Is it wrong to ask? She asked. Please lady can you leave or do you want me to kill you myself. He asked. When naomi saw the seriousness in his eyes she gave up. Ok. I'm leaving. Thanks for everything. She said leaving. When she saw that he wasn't going to stop her, she scoffed. He's so harsh. She huffed angrily leaving.
