Chapter 6: Dream
–Hokage Office–
"How about it? Attending the Leaf Academy?" Minato asked. "It'll be great for you to make some friends and learn about different jutsus people use."
"I get it, I know. I already agreed with Mikoto that I'll be attending the academy. Is there a test that I have to take?" Rize asked.
"Yes. Although you're very strong for your age, there are still things I need to evaluate. So you'll be taking two tests." Minato said.
"Okay, I'm fine with it. But I have a question." Rize said.
"Ask away."
"Is there a way I can graduate from the academy early? I'd rather not stay there for a couple years, it's a waste of my time."
Minato laughed, "I knew you would say that. I actually do have an option for you."
"What is it?"
"It's a secret." Minato teased. "You'll finish your two tests with one of the jonins and the team assigned to that jonin."
"Alright, I get it. So who is the jonin?"
"He's right behind you."
Rize turned around and saw a tall man with spiky white hair, and dark eyes. He also wore a forehead protector tilted to the left which covered his left eye and wore a mask that covered the lower part of his face. There was also a book in his hand too.
"He's Kakashi and he's the one that's going to be testing you." Minato said.
"I see." Rize said as she held out her hand in which Kakashi took. "I'm Rize Uchiha, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too." Kakashi replied in a monotone voice.
With one look, Rize could tell Kakashi wasn't very talkative. In fact, she was surprised he even took her hand and greeted her back.
"When does the test begin?" Rize asked, looking at Minato.
Minato glanced at the clock, "Hmm, about now. Then good luck to you two! Have fun! Make sure you pass!"
With that being said, Kakashi led her to a rooftop where three other figures could be seen talking among themselves.
"Is our teacher really late on the first date?"
"How could he?!"
"True, it's definitely annoying."
Rize recognized two out of the three people. It was Naruto, Sasuke, and a pink haired girl that she didn't know about. Rize activated her Sharingan and saw that Naruto had a tiny reddish layer of chakra around him. Though it was barely noticeable.
When they were close enough, Rize deactivated her Sharingan revealing her dull black eyes.
"Yo!" Kakashi said as he went to lean on the railing. "How's everyone doing?"
"You're late!"
"On the first day!"
"Haha, I had to pick up someone else who'll be participating in the test. I couldn't deny the request since it came from Lord Fourth." Kakashi replied.
"I see."
"Understandable."
Rize stared at the three back. She noticed Sasuke had an annoyed expression on his face, Naruto had a curious expression, and as for Sakura…she couldn't understand.
After all, Sakura's thoughts were,
'Is she a potential rival to me? Sasuke only belongs to me!'
"Since everyone is here now, let's introduce ourselves." Kakashi said as he closed the book. "Your likes, your dislikes, your hobbies, future dreams, and stuff like that."
"But before that, why don't you introduce yourself first?" Naruto asked.
"Okay. I'm Kakashi Hatake. I don't feel like telling you my likes or dislikes…I never thought about a future dream. I have a lot of hobbies though." Kakashi said.
The other three deadpanned Kakashi. Once again, they were talking among themselves.
Rize showed an indifferent face since she expected this. Kakashi didn't seem like the type to willingly open up to people anyway.
"Now, it's your turn."
"But the only thing we know is your name!"
"And that I'm a Jonin."
"That too…but-"
"Anyway!" Naruto exclaimed, interrupting Sakura who now had an angry expression. "I'll go first! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! I like ramen and I like ramen from Ichiraku even more!"
The name rang a light bulb in Rize's head.
'So Mikoto was right, this kid is really addicted to ramen.' Rize thought.
Naruto continued, "I dislike waiting three minutes waiting for instant ramen! My hobby is eating and comparing ramen! And my future dream is to surpass the Hokage!"
Rize raised her eyebrow. If her information was correct, the title Hokage was bestowed upon the village's leader which meant he was the strongest in the village.
She looked at the kid in disbelief and sighed.
'Dream big I guess.'
Next was the pink haired girl. Rize unconsciously took a step back since she got the feeling she didn't want to be near her.
"My name is Sakura Haruno! What I like is-I mean who I like is…" Sakura trailed off and looked at Sasuke.
Once again, Rize was in disbelief. How could a person who wanted to become a ninja be blinded by love and couldn't see Sasuke's true nature? The kid was arrogant and annoying.
Rize didn't even bother to listen to what Sakura had to say. Next was the black haired arrogant boy who was staring intensely at the ground.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I have a lot of dislikes and don't have any likes in particular. I don't have a dream, but an ambition. To surpass my brother and defeat her!" Sasuke exclaimed and pointed at Rize.
"Huh? Me?" Rize asked in confusion with a finger pointing towards herself.
"Yes, you made me suffer such humiliation so I'm going to beat you and show you that you're wrong." Sasuke said with anger.
"Do as you like." Rize said indifferently as she yawned. She didn't want to entertain the boy.
"And just because you're an Uchiha doesn't mean we'll accept you!" Sasuke exclaimed.
"You're an Uchiha?!" Sakura asked in surprise.
"Yes, I am. That's why Sasuke wants to defeat me so badly, here, look." Rize said as she pointed towards her eyes that had turned red with three tomoe. "It's our eyes."
For some reason, Sakura couldn't tear away from Rize's eyes. They were mesmerizing, but she should be able to tear away…yet….
*SNAP*
"Huh?"
Due to the snap from Kakashi, Sakura was able to snap out of it. When she looked again, her eyes were back to normal.
Rize glanced towards Kakashi who was staring at her. She simply smiled playfully and continued onto introducing herself.
"My name is Rize Uchiha. I like fighting, wars, and having power. I dislike the weak who depend on the strong. My hobby is fighting and my dream is to become the strongest. To become the only one honored throughout heaven and earth."
The four figures stared at her in shock and with mixed expressions. After all, whose hobby would be fighting? It was only for maniacs.
As for Kakashi, he felt slightly worried. But he brushed it off and decided to tell Minato later.
"And that's it. I'll be telling you about the test now."
