Chapter 88: Omake: Wagtails
"Ow, motherfucker." Ash cursed as he stood up. He face planted onto the ground after escaping from the girls.
After helping one of the operators in Rhodes island that had a complicated pregnancy. The woman who gave birth in Paradiso unleashed something terrible.
When the women in Paradiso saw the little bundle that got birthed. A plague infected all of them, baby fever.
So the Feranmuts immediately tried to take him down and tie him on a bed. And with smirks on their faces, they went fufufu~ while talking about baby names and their supposed genders.
A couple of them even went on a rant on how twins or triplets were superior. So he did what any sensible man would do, and ran away.
"Fuck that, I have to give them time to cool down." Ash sighed and rubbed his head, he was having a migraine.
"Where the hell am I anyways?" He looked around and he seemed to be in Tokyo. "Huh, let's look for clues."
Ash changed himself to be human, though he was still huge. Used to his inhuman height by now. And he looked buff as heck.
"Hey, isn't that guy so hot? I wonder what our kids would look like?" He heard a woman gossip with her friend and he had chills.
"Damn, women are scary when they want kids." Ash remembered their ferocity. It was like they were going to war.
Everyone was fighting him tooth and nail to tie him to a bed. A couple of mountains disappeared off the face of Terra as collateral even.
"Hey... Isn't this a vacation? I mean, I don't do much nowadays. But a little me time? Fuck, vacations are still a foreign concept to me. Old habits die hard." Ash felt a bit weird not doing anything.
So he roamed around and went to a coffee shop near a train station. "Ahhh~ normally, Ifrit or the destruction trio would be bugging me to play right now. This is... Nice." Ash sipped on his coffee peacefully.
They loved playing counter strike a bit too much. "Hah, those girls. They even made a league for tournaments. I guess it's better than going haywire and causing destruction everywhere."
He remembered that Ifrit is really damned explosive. And her arts unit is carrying an amount of refined originium that it could infect entire countries with oripathy.
"But this place seems to be peaceful? Maybe I should look around more. There's nothing of note, for now." He finished his cup of coffee and started walking around again.
But before he could exit the station, a young man bumped into him. "Ow, ow..." He fell down, feeling like he went face first against a brick wall.
"You okay kid?" Ash helped him up. "Ahhh, sorry about that. I was in a daze you see?"
"It's okay, you depressed kid? Don't worry, just keep going. Don't kill yourself okay?" Ash noticed that he was in low spirits.
"Wha? No, I won't kill myself! I just failed the entrance exam to Tokyo U." He slumped down and Ash laughed.
"Just try again man, if you fail three times. Then you apply for others." Ash smacked him on the back and he felt the air on his lungs escape.
"T-thanks, I'm Sahashi Minato by the way." He introduced himself.
"Oh, I'm Ash. Get out of here kid, get laid or something. That would get you going." Ash laughed and the young man choked.
"Get out of the way please!" They heard a voice from above and Ash pushed away Minato. Because he would most likely die if a person landed on the top of his head. Who was going at terminal speed by the way.
"Whoa there, what's with you?" Ash raised a brow after he caught a girl.
"Ahhh! Musubi is sorry~ thank you very much for catching me." The girl with a hime cut and dressed in a sexy shrine maiden outfit beamed at him. (pic)
'What the hell, is she a cosplayer? A slutty shrine maiden or something? But she isn't even worried about her safety. Meaning that she wasn't scared of falling at all.' Ash analyzed her and concluded immediately.
"Get back here!" They heard a pair of voices at the top of a building and Ash blinked. "Twin dominatrix? What the fuck? Are you in some kind of orgy or something and you ran away?" Ash was confused.
"Ahhh, those are meanies! They're trying to take down Musubi before I can meet my fated ashikabi!" Musubi glared at them.
"Okay? This is getting too weird for me. So let's talk about it more." Ash put her down and they started walking away.
"You! Get out of here before you get hurt! We only want the girl." One of the twins warned him.
"Or what?" Ash squinted his eyes. He then suddenly got hit by a bolt of lightning coming from the weird perverts wearing bondage outfits.
"We warned you." The other one snorted. But they went wide eyed when Ash was dusting himself off.
"Scram, before I make you. I'm a gentleman that loves women and the female form. But I have no problem beating the shit out of them." Ash released some of his power and they went deathly pale.
"Wow... Musubi has never seen someone scare Sekirei like that before. You're so awesome!" The girl's eyes shone and Ash put a hand on her shoulders to calm her down.
"Alright, I'm Ash. Talk to me Musubi, what's a Sekirei and an ashikabi?" Musubi bounced around like a kid with ADHD.
"Musubi is a Sekirei. Just like those two, an ashikabi-sama is our destined one that will give us our wings!" Musubi explained, but she was terrible at it.
So he extrapolated and made his conclusions. 'Sekirei are super powered people that need to find someone. Most likely linked to their species or something.'
He then got broken out of his thoughts when Musubi's stomach growled. "Uuuu~ Musubi hasn't eaten till yesterday."
"Come on then, let's get you some grub." Ash shrugged and he thought this might get entertaining.
After taking her to the most expensive buffet in Tokyo, Musubi was right as rain and she had a massive grin on her face.
"Wow, you'll give Kay a run for her money." Ash was impressed. She ate at least 30 pounds of food.
"Hehehe~ thanks for the meal Ash!" Musubi cheered and he thought of what to do now.
"So? You got a home Musubi?" Ash asked and she shook her head.
"I need to find my ashikabi-sama! Wherever they are is going to be my home." She beamed and Ash sighed. She was like a ball of energy.
'I need to find this girl an apartment. I guess I can't leave her out in the streets.' Ash shook his head, but he smiled.
"Okay, let's find you a place to stay." Ash patted her head and she closed her eyes, enjoying the contact.
So they roamed around to find some place where ID's aren't needed.
"Huh? A Sekirei?" Musubi looked at a brunette that was resting on a bench. She was looking at blank space while her clothes that were barely on was stained by blood. (pic)
"Hey, are you fine?" Ash frowned, this Sekirei business might be deeper than he thought if one of them looks like she fought. He then saw a crest on her forehead that had a well of energy.
"Ahhh, yes. This blood, not mine." She replied lackadaisically and she reminded him of Liz.
"Okay, come on then. Let's get you some shelter, it looks like it'll rain." Ash shrugged and he snapped his fingers, correcting her flow of energy.
The girl went wide eyed and she put a hand on her forehead. She then looked at him and started crying.
"Woah, woah, calm down." He patted her back and checked her for injuries.
It then started to rain, but Ash just repelled the droplets. The airheaded Musubi didn't question it and the quiet girl just followed him with an intense gaze.
"What's your name? I'm Ash and this is Musubi." He introduced themselves.
"Ahhh, Akitsu. Ashikabi-sama." Ash raised a brow and Musubi squealed in delight.
"Ash! You're her ashikabi-sama! You have to wing her!" Musubi was shouting too excitedly.
"Wing her huh? What's that?" Ash fished for more info.
"I was a scrapped number. I couldn't be winged, but you fixed me... So you are my ashikabi-sama. I have decided already." Akitsu replied with a long sentence for once.
"See? You're the only one for her, Ash!" Musubi was happy for her.
"Okay? Let's talk about this more later." He sighed, they would definitely won't be explaining more about it with how they are.
While roaming around, they found a traditional looking japanese house that had a sign. It was accepting tenants, nothing else needed.
"Lucky break." Ash knocked and they waited a bit. A purple haired woman opened the door. "Ara~ visitors? It is raining, please do come in for now." The woman ushered them inside.
She then squinted his eyes, seeing that they were bone dry.
"Hey, Ash, Akitsu, and Musubi. We saw the sign, I want to be an occupant." Ash pointed at themselves.
"Is that so? Then welcome to Maison Izumo, just follow the rules. I only accept cash please. I am Miya, this place's landlord." She smiled at them. (pic)
"Okay, can I pay in goods?" Ash rummaged in his pocket to hide his powers and put a chunk of gold on the table. It was easily twenty pounds and Miya's smile twitched.
"Ash... Isn't this unreasonable?" She smiled sweetly at him and tried to put pressure on him for his antics.
"Not really, that's for our stay here. Keep the change, we don't know when we'll move." Ash waved his hand nonchalantly.
Miya's face twitched. "Declining one's generosity is rude after all. Thank you, be back in an hour. Dinner will be ready by then." She took it away.
After cleaning up Akitsu. The both of them slept, clearly exhausted.
"I guess I'll just bring them some dinner later." Ash rubbed his temples.
He went back down and decided to ask Miya about some things.
"Where's Akitsu and Musubi?" She tilted her head. "Fast asleep, now. I have some questions. You're a Sekirei, what's with all this crap?" Ash asked and Miya flinched.
"Ara, what are you talking about?" She smiled and Ash sighed. "You feel just like Akitsu and Musubi, though you have tons of energy inside your body. You walk silently, and your muscles are dense. I also smell tons of blood on you." Ash smirked at her and she immediately tensed.
"Who are you? Who sent you?" She growled and Ash rolled his eyes. "Don't be so suspicious Miya, I'm just some random guy that got here in Tokyo."
"Why would I believe you?" She glared at him and he shrugged. "Because I can kick your ass? Based on your specs... You can probably slice mountains in half with a swing of your sword. But I can crush this planet with a thought."
He observed her back and arms. Her muscle composition was like Degenbrecher's.
She went quiet as Ash reverted back to his true form. Surprising her greatly.
"Calm down Miya, you can feel it right? That dread, a feeling that you're staring at Mt. Tai." He chuckled, copying those Yanese lunatics.
Before she could reply, they heard a knock. Miya opened it up and her smile froze.
"Sorry Miya-san, we're out of rice again. Forgive us! Our ashikabi is such a deadbeat bastard." A black haired woman immediately bowed a perfect 90 degrees.
"Ahh, it's those bondage twins that were trying to rope Musubi in an orgy earlier." Ash sighed.
"What!? You! You're that guy that helped her!" The twins pointed at him accusingly.
"Ara ara... What is happening?" Miya decided to wait and see.
"I'm in a weird ass place huh? I guess it's better than being tied on a bed and being treated as a stud." Ash rolled his eyes, preparing for more weird crap.
