Chapter 134: Chapter 123: Vigilante Group
Ash wrapped up his little entertainment in Lungmen and he dropped off Ch'en and Talulah in Wei's office.
Shocking Fumizuki, his wife. And the governor of Lungmen greatly. "T-Talulah?" Fumizuki blinked dumbly.
"She's a guest here, so don't have any funny ideas, Wei Yenwu." Ash squinted his eyes.
He then went back to Paradiso in order to prepare for their attack on Siracusa that would be grand in scale. Involving Kazimierz, Kjerag, and Leithanien.
"Hello, uncle Wei. Miss me?" Talulah smirked at him and he was speechless.
"How are y-you, Talulah?" Wei stuttered and she sat down on the couch in front of them.
"Very well, Kaschey has treated me nicely." Talulah looked at them seriously and they winced.
"Talulah, stop. Ash is rubbing off on you." Ch'en sighed and Talulah pouted at her.
"They were so tense and on their toes, you've changed Ch'en. You're too serious." Talulah rolled her eyes.
"Ch'en? What's the meaning of this?" Fumizuki recovered and Ch'en started explaining.
"We've reunited and we talked about some things..." Ch'en didn't want them to know about what Talulah experienced in Ursus.
"Aren't you going to welcome me at least? Uncle, auntie." Talulah sighed.
"We thought you were dead." Wei frowned and Talulah raised a brow.
"You want me dead? Oh what would dear father; Edward Artorius would say to you?" Talulah snorted.
"I didn't mean it like that." Wei was getting stressed and he reached out for his pipe with shaky hands.
He then smoked a bit and he breathed deeply. "Your parents would be glad that you are fine..." Wei could only utter that and Talulah didn't know if she should be angry or not.
They then went quiet and nobody knew what to say.
__Paradiso__
Ash returned to the base and his elites were already gathered.
The Kazimierian knights, the abyssal hunters, the destruction trio, Shining, and Enciades were ready to receive him.
"Report, what did you learn about those guys? They seem to be called Capone and Gambino Ricci." Ash squinted his eyes.
"They were once members of the Sicilian famiglia. Signora Sicily purged them for an offense to her and they have based themselves in Lungmen since then." Shining revealed.
"Hoh? So that old hag is letting her subordinates run wild in other places huh? Thinking that she washed her hands off of them? I think not." Ash furrowed his brows and he was getting angrier by the second.
"Send a message to Siracusa, the famiglias will be purged and exiled from there. The red axis declares them public enemy number one." Ash ordered and they saluted.
"But Ash, how are we going to isolate them without harming the civilians?" Narcissa tilted her head and he snorted.
"You'll have a pretty big and exciting job. Worth a couple of jars of cookies and tons of sweets." Ash informed her of the payment and Narcissa did a guts pose, immediately getting motivated.
"We'll be annexing another country, but I guess liberating them from a violent government sounds better?" Ash squinted his eyes.
__Siracusa__
At a lavish room, a middle aged woman was currently drinking some wine after reading the reports of the famiglias.
Signora Sicily, the head of state of Siracusa that oversees the country.
And she has total control of all the famiglias. She is also the one who ordered the annihilation of the Texas family for their plans of rebellion.
Her ears twitched and she suddenly saw a gleam with her peripheral vision.
"Hoh? You're pretty good." Signora smirked and she also had her sharp claws on the chest of Ash's ghost.
But others also swooped down at her and she was shocked as she got surrounded. And all the moves she could do would result in getting killed.
"Signora Sicily, the leader of Siracusa and its famiglias. Beware, you have angered our lord. And as his ghosts, we are here to give you a message." Wraith, Ash's best ghost. The very first one of them spoke in a disembodied voice.
"What is it then?" Signora sounded calm, but a drop of sweat rolled from her forehead.
"You cannot even control your subordinates, how can you run a country? Pathetic dog, I'll run Siracusa for you then." Wraith started sending the message.
Signora got angry, thinking of who the insolent person was. But she remembered that they have her life on their hands right now.
"Rejoice, for I. Asmodeus Leithanien, the emperor of Leithanien have declared you and your famiglias as our enemy. And I doubt that you are stronger than Yan and Ursus, aren't you glad that we would even look your way? Prepare yourselves, Paradiso does not spare sworn enemies." Wraith finished and he stopped copying Ash's baritone voice.
"The message has been received, you have a week. Struggle all you want, worm. But our lord has marked you for certain death." Wraith finished and they disappeared into the shadows.
Signora checked if they were still there and she drank her glass of wine immediately. Breathing in deeply.
"H-how? How can this be? We have never made direct contact with Leithanien and the emperor's people!?" Signora was having a panic attack.
She then wracked her brains for a reason, anything. Anyone, that could have offended Terra's supreme empire.
"Gambino and Capone! It could only be them! They are in Lungmen which they made into their satellite city!" Signora threw her table in rage.
She then slowly slumped down as Wraith's words rung in her ears. "A week... We'll be annihilated in a week."
Everybody knows the slaughter of Ursus and Yan. Mighty empires that have proven their strength. Now a shadow of their former self in just a few days of battle.
Numerous outposts fell, fortresses got taken down almost instantly. And Paradiso stopped supporting them completely. Leading to anarchy and nation wide riots.
Not only leaving their armies in tatters, but also causing civil wars that have gone out of control. And the worst part is, the rebels were well equipped and fed.
While their armies suddenly lose their provisions from Paradiso. Making their logistics collapse instantly.
__Lungmen__
After saving Bison, Mostima received a call from Exusiai and they were apparently at Emperor's friend.
A bar called The Ends of the Earth. Mostima delivered Bison there.
'They're partying again? Is there nothing but parties inside of their minds?' Bison sighed, getting used to the pattern by now.
"Oi! Come here Bison, drink!" Exusiai pulled him to their table and they were having a time of their life.
Though, Texas was just watching them in a corner. Drinking some juice and eating some Pocky.
"Why do you guys party so much?" Bison asked Croissant because he wasn't sure what Exusiai would say.
"Well, we have dangerous jobs. So we need to make everything count. Besides, isn't it fun? Partying takes off some edge from the job." Croissant shrugged.
"I see, but aren't we a logistics company? Why are we even fighting the mafia?" Bison was confused.
"You're kind of naive eh?" Croissant chuckled and Bison agreed with her a bit.
And while they were having a nice party, Gambino surrounded the bar with his men.
"Hello, penguin logistics. It's not nice to see you. And I will have to kill all of you for the famiglia." Gambino appeared and he also glared at Texas.
"Especially you, stray dog that ran to Lungmen. You're a stain of the Sicilians." Gambino insulted Texas, but she just looked at him with her jaded expression, unamused.
"A stray? What about you? A cowardly dog that yearns for power? When you're just a little lapdog for Signora Sicily that would rather lick the soles of her shoes." Texas took out her weapon.
With a humming sound, light escaped from the cylinder and she held it with a reverse grip.
"Tch, attack!" Gambino ordered his men and PL immediately acted. Croissant tossed Bison's shield to him and they blocked the bullets from the gangsters.
Texas, meanwhile. Started to zip around with her light saber and she used its non lethal mode.
She swung it at the gangsters, shocking them and making them twitch on the floor. The sword acting as a strong taser.
Its lethal mode would make them explode after all. And Texas isn't about that life anymore. Wanting to have a peaceful time, after escaping Siracusa.
"Apple pie!" Exusiai also started firing her weapons once Texas made a distraction. And the Sankta's quick fire weapons made quick work of the gangsters.
"Texas!" Gambino charged at Texas with a dagger and he tried to stab her with it. But she just blocked his attacks like dealing with a child.
She then kicked him right at the head, sending him flying. Crashing on some tables.
Texas ignored him after that and PL kept on cleaning up the gangsters surrounding the bar.
Gambino gritted his teeth and he clicked his tongue.
"Tactical retreat!" He ordered immediately and he ran away with his tail between his legs.
PL was victorious, but they of course had to clean up the bar. And Emperor was going to have a stroke due to his high blood pressure.
"Those punks, even attacking my friend's bar. Come on everyone, if it's a mess that they want. Then we'll take it to them." Emperor squinted his eyes as he made a call again.
He asked for the location of the Siracusan mafiosi and after cleaning up the bar, they went to their base in order to confront them.
"Shouldn't we like inform the LGD about this?" Bison was confused on why they weren't really informing the authorities.
"Ahhh, you see... The LGD kind of dislikes us, because we keep on getting in a mess like this." Croissant explained and Bison was shocked.
"So this is a regular occurrence?" Bison frowned and Croissant chuckled wryly.
After Gambino returned to their hideout, he was thinking of something. Why wasn't Capone with them when he attacked penguin logistics.
"He must have betrayed the famiglia... Growing weak due to Signora, purging the Gambino famiglia. That's why he is so conservative now." Gambino furrowed his brows.
And due to the betrayal of his sworn brother, he confronted him. "Capone, let me ask this... Why weren't you there to back us up?"
"I see, so you have noticed? Gambino, you are too bloodthirsty. You will destroy the famiglia. The authorities of Lungmen will notice us and they'll hunt us down." Capone furrowed his brows.
"Traitor! Where's your determination? Our famiglia can't continue by waiting for an opportunity!" Gambino lost it and was going to attack his brother.
But before they could start, the rat king appeared and he used his sand arts to create a sandstorm around the area.
"Brats, you have been a bit too noisy. Injuring one of my men and some civilians due to your little schemes." Kojui squinted his eyes.
"Lin Kojui, we had a deal!" Gambino snarled. Kojui snorted and he was getting angrier. "A deal you say? Don't make me laugh, brat. You have been causing trouble in Lungmen!"
A surge of sand made them fly and penguin logistics also arrived at the scene.
"Kojui! Let me take care of these little brats, they've been testing my patience all day." Emperor glared at the mafiosi.
"They've been also making problems in my city, Emperor." Kojui snorted and they were about to have a three-way fight.
Gambino thought that Kojui would be a bit too old to react quickly and he ran towards Kojui. "Die! Rat king!"
He took out a gun and was about to fire it at Kojui, but he coughed as he felt something stab him from behind.
"Tch, sworn brothers betraying each other. Is your bond that shallow?" Kojui wasn't pleased by Capone backstabbing his brother in arms.
"He would bring the downfall of the famiglia. I did what I must." Capone frowned heavily.
"That is why you are just little brats, wet behind the ears still. While you were trying to scheme, I already planted moles inside of your famiglia. And most of your men have defected to me. Sensing your conflict." Kojui revealed and the majority of the gangsters with them pointed their guns towards the two.
"So they sought greener pastures, amateurs." Kojui smirked and the two was left with no back up and no way to win.
"Leave from Lungmen, mafiosi. You are not welcome here." Kojui glared at them and they ran away.
"You will regret not finishing us off, Lin Kojui." Capone had to have his villain line before running away.
