Chapter 68: Bring Me Her Heart

In the depths of a hidden cave, bathed in an eerie glow from flickering torches. The malevolent voice of a vicious King reverberated the echoing burrow walls of the cave.

"That was the last phase of the plan, why, you unscrupulous rogues have to ruin it?" 

The men had their heads bowed in remorse tinged with fear for the unknown. 

They were a total of six well built men and the one who was in front of them was down on his knees. He appeared to be the one in charge of their assignment.

The King's eyes were particularly glued at him with a fit of rage dragging its way around his irises.

A heavy sigh with a pronounced weight hit the quiet walls that surrounded them. "You all are unreliable, a secluded demon in a Kingdom filled with humans, was skilled enough to thwart your moves. Shame on you all!" He roared in anger with his finger pointing at every one of them.
