Subin's spar went as expected with her winning without even breaking a sweat. We were sitting near the fountain with Arthur when he started praising Subin, "You were it, girl! That was so refreshing to watch."
"I didn't win to hear that from you, you know." Subin snapped at him.
"Of course, I'm just saying. Do you remember the kids that went to your academy with me? They're loving it as much as I do. Though Dale is the happiest."
"Them? Why?" asked Jisuk.
"Cuz, most of the students here looked down on them after they got defeated by you guys. Not to mention that this guy won his first spar with one of the strongest at this academy." Arthur explained pointing at me. "Blaming them for losing to academy students in some country they didn't even know the name of. Among those students was Jessica. But now that you've toyed with her in front of them, nobody will dare say a thing from now on."
He continued even more excited than before, "With this, the majority will now refrain from provoking you further. But Eunwoo! You're one terrifying dude! You didn't even look nervous during the spar."
"Haha... I was a nervous wreck if it wasn't for these guys", I replied rubbing my nape suddenly feeling embarrassed.
"Wait... If I'm not wrong, you used healing ability to cure your broken arm, right? Just how many abilities do you have?!"
"I'm still learning about my abilities. Not to mention my healing ability isn't even that impressive..." That's the truth. I am still nothing compared to Mr. Kartein's stills. I've still got a long way to go.
"BULLSHIT-", started Jisuk but Subin interrupted him.
" Eunwoo, my dear, you need to learn how to be arrogant, just like Jisuk."
"Yes, that's right! Wait-"
"See! There's no need to be humble. Your fight was amazing! Let's not mention what a great healer you are already."
I can't say that they are fully exaggerating... So I let them continue their quarrel. Arthur looked like he genuinely wanted to spend time with us. I should later warm him about Duke.
"I knew you were a little rat but I didn't know you were shameless."
A deep voice was heard and we were met with the muscular redhead, Glant Gasimov. He was even larger than Dale and his stiff expression made him seem as unfriendly as he was. I did want to challenge him at first but that was before I met him. Sure, I've gotten a lot stronger but I still lack in many aspects.
Glant continued, "Still hanging out with them after getting yourself and your whole and ashamed by them..."
But Arthur grinned, amused by the other, "I'm the familiar face, of course, I should be of assistance."
"So, who among them defeated Duke and Cain?"
"Why do you need to know?", I asked him with my green eyes glaring at him red ones.
"It's me", Jiwoo spoke up not wanting a possible fight to break out.
"You?"
"Yeah."
There was a moment of silence and the big guy stared at Jiwoo in disbelief and confusion. Arthur sensing the same, swung an arm on Jiwoo's shoulder saying, "It might not seem like it, but he indeed defeated both Duke and Cain. They were both taken off guard, just like you."
"I'm Glant Gesimov."
"Uh? I'm Jiwoo Seo."
The redhead left after their brief introduction leaving behind a confused Jiwoo. When the spar begins, I wonder who I should challenge. I could beat Dale because he's easily swayed but the rest of the kids are not much different. And since my training with Mr. Kartein, he has blocked my energy so I can only use it up to 40% right now.
Subin spoke up, "He's one of your academy's top ten, right? You think he'll wanna go up against Jiwoo?"
"He wouldn't challenge him that easily", Arthur explained. "Because Jiwoo already beat two of the top tens, Duke and Cain. I'm sure none of the other top tens consider themselves weaker than those two... But they all have a lot to lose in case they get defeated by Jiwoo, so they have no choice but to be extra cautious... Not to mention Eunwoo. The word has spread that the fight with Dale was his first spar. No one is likely to challenge you guys again that easily. However, I'd love to watch you spar again."
"Is it true that sparring between students is freely allowed here? Then is it possible for us to challenge one of you?"
