Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Dacian-Rumeli War I

It's been 5 weeks since the Border conflict between the Grand Duchy of Dacia and Magna Rumeli took place, with the Dacian Central Government wasting no time in accusing the Sultanate.
In the International Scenario, the Allied Kingdom was for now Neutral, just seeing how this would play out, but everyone in the Allied Kingdom Government knew that there would be a Dacian-Rumeli War.
The Republic, which was taken by surprise by the Frontier Conflict between the Dacians and Rumeli, soon supported Dacia after the News and Evidence of Rumeli Aggression appeared to the All World.
The Empire, while essentially Neutral, they were with the Kingdom of Ildoa trying to get both sides to come to terms.
But there were different reasons for both the Imperials and Ildoans to do this, the Empire wanted to achieve a certain "Peace" on the Continent, while the Ildoans were trying to use this to get more Notoriety and Political Influence on the Continent.
But even with the efforts of the 2 countries, tensions were already quite high between Dacia and Magna Rumeli, causing on July 30, 1920, the Dacians formally declared war against the Rumeli.
Battles have already begun to take place on the Dacian-Rumeli Border, with Dacia having the early advantage and managing to surround some of the Rumeli Garrisons.
"Forward men! Take positions quickly!" Shouted a Dacian Officer as he advanced alongside the soldiers amidst gunfire and explosions caused by Artillery Shots and Magic Attacks.
As they advanced, they spotted Rumeli soldiers and quickly fired at them before continuing forward without stopping.
In the sky, 2 Battalions of Dacian Mages were providing cover for some troops, whose objective was to take the fortifications where the Enemy Artillery was.
"Commanders! Rumeli mages approaching!" Shouted one of the Dacian Mages while pointing in a direction, where the enemy Mages were.
"Commander Dimiru! Keep providing support to the allied troops, me and my boys will deal with the Pagan Scum" Said a man who was the Commander of one of the Battalions while reloading his Magic Rifle.
"Understood, good luck" Said a blonde-haired woman while using Explosive Spells against some Rumeli Troopers.
The man nodded before calling his Battalion and going to attack the Rumeli Mages, who were preparing to fire at them.
The equipment that the Dacian Mages used was the same equipment as the Imperial Mages, as not only was it of a higher quality, but it also gave more Mobility to the Mages unlike Mages from other countries, having only Dacian Symbols instead of Imperial Symbols.
Rumeli Mages used something like Disco underneath them, which required a lot of control to balance while fighting or dashing at High Speed.
"Penetration Spells! FIRE!" Mage Officer Rumeli shouted as he pointed his Rifle at one of the Battalion's Dacian Mages who was coming towards them from a distance.
With Rumeli's magic shots heading towards them, the Dacian Mages activated Magic Shields as they dodged, some were hit but with only minor injuries, thanks to dodging quickly when their Shields broke.
Soon the Dacians also fought back, sending several Penetration Spells followed by Explosive magic shots, managing to hit several Rumeli Mages.
The Dacian Battalion Commander along with some Mages advanced quickly while infusing their bayonets with magic, with the objective quite clear.
Quickly, a few heads of Rumeli Mages rolled, along with their Magic Disks exploding from the gunfire of the Dacian Mages who stayed behind to provide cover.
"Sir! We can't take it like this! We need to-" Shouted a Rumeli Mage who was standing beside his Superior before being interrupted by a Penetration Spell that pierced his Magic Shield and entered his head, killing him.
"Shit! ALI! Damn it, RETREAT! RETREAT" Shouted Official Mage Rumeli as he turned his Magic Disc and started to leave, along with the remaining Rumeli Mages who heard what he said.
But of course, the Dacian Mages wouldn't let that happen, so they started to hunt the Rumeli Mages, sending several Penetration Spells and Explosives, decreasing their numbers every second.
Returning to the Dacian Soldiers on land, the Officer with his troops managed to take the fortifications, with most of the Soldiers being left behind so that they could protect the newly conquered points.
"This is Company 069-Drake! We're almost to Artillery, but we need Explosive Magic Support, over!" Said a Dacian Soldier while using the Radio Backpack that was on his back.
"Drake Company, this is the Commander of the 17th Battalion of Royal Dacian Mages, Maria Dimiru, we will be sending Explosive Spells quickly, take cover!" Said Commander Dimiru while she and the Battalion prepared the Magic Rifles.
Hearing what Commander Dimiru said, the Dacian Soldiers took cover, with some crouching down and holding their helmets, soon hearing Explosions and feeling a Tremor.
"It's our cue! Advance!" Said the Officer while holding his Revolver tightly before moving forward with the other Soldiers.
"Dacians!" Shouted one of the Rumeli Soldiers who managed to survive, but soon died from several shots in the chest.
The Dacian Soldiers who were a little further back, kept jabbing their bayonets at the fallen Rumeli Soldiers, intending to ensure that none got up.
"Captain! The Enemy Artillery!" Shouted one of the Dacian Soldiers to the Officer who was beside him, while pointing to the Artillery Pieces that were being reloaded, being only a little away from them.
"I see, Soldier, come on boys! Let's kill these Pagan Scum and take the Artillery!" The Captain shouted as he ran alongside the soldiers who were with him.
The Rumeli soon noticed the Dacians, so they took positions where they could defend themselves and started shooting at the Dacians, who also had to take safe positions to be able to fight back.
A Dacian soldier picked up a grenade and threw it at the Rumeli Soldiers before taking cover again.
Soon there was a massive explosion that took out some of the Rumeli Soldiers, thinning their numbers and giving the Dacians an advantage.
The Dacians then soon advanced while firing at the remaining Rumeli with most being killed but 4 decided to surrender as they lowered their weapons and raised their hands in surrender.
With the Dacianos managing to secure the positions, the Captain sent the soldier responsible for Radio Mochila to communicate with the Daciano Command.
"Attention all Units, the enemy Artillery has been taken, all Soldiers are allowed to advance with the Small Armored Support, the 17th and 22nd Battalions of Mages must attack the Enemy Command, and the other Battalions must continue to give Magic support to the troops." Said a Dacian soldier who was transmitting the new orders given by the Superiors.
