Chapter 64: Chapter 64 Transaction
Kingpin looked at Sullivan. If it was before he would laugh at him but now He may be able to do what he said.
His voice was so alluring that Kingpin mistook it as an angel voice that wanted to give him salvation.
Kingpin was yearning to meet his family once again. He was ready to pay any price just to be with them. He even thought of ending his life but he knew He would go to hell instead of heaven where they should reside.
He is a sinner after all.
When He thought about it. They may be in heaven. He hesitated. He just realized it now.Is it really alright to pull them back if they were to live in paradise.
Will they hate him because of that?
Sullivan magic was working again. He heard his deepest desire. He wanted to meet them but was also afraid that they would hate him.
Sullivan closed his eyes. He took a deep breath. Somehow he knew that his family wasn't in heaven nor hell but in someplace that they call purgatory.
Sullivan thought for a bit before speaking
"I advise you to choose to meet them and repent Uncle Wilson."
Kingpin was confused as to why Sullivan suggested that.
"Why…"
"They are not in heaven."
Sullivan said as his eyes changed color from black to holy white.
"??!!"
Kingpin eyes went wide. If they weren't in heaven then that means.
"They are not in hell either, they are in a place called purgatory."
His eyes changed from holy white to orange fire.
"Purgatory?"
Kingpin was still shocked.
Vanessa and Richard shouldn't have been sent there after death, they were just ordinary people.
Sullivan understood what he was thinking so he said.
"Every human has sin. It is just about a little or a lot they need to be purified before they will be judged."
Sullivan was very smooth now like a veteran.
He did everything according to his instincts. It was so natural. His knowledge of purgatory comes from the dept of his soul.
Kingpin was very afraid now. His wife and son were in purgatory waiting to be judged.
He didn't have much time to think about it. He decided to repent.
"I will repent but please bring them back to me!"
When Kingpin accepted the condition no, It should be called a transaction instead.
He felt something was torn inside. A part of his soul went out of his body before Sullivan grabbed it and made it disappear.
He was bound by his promise. If he broke his promise then his soul would be reaped by him.
Sullivan also was bound by his promise to. He knew what to do. He pulled something from his guild treasury. It was phoenix downs.
He needed to use two of them but He still has ten more. and if he ever used it up. He could have asked Phe for it.
Now that he had the means to bring someone from death. He needed a medium.
"Bring me something that has their Dna."
Kingpin heard that he then took out something from inside his suit. It was a handkerchief and a pen. These were used by his wife and son.
Sullivan received the medium then he brought phoenix down to the two items before it merged with them. not long after the two items slowly change into two people.
The process was so miraculous that everyone could not look away from it.
Vanessa and Richard were snach away from death.
"Where am I"
Vanessa and Richard looked everywhere. They didn't know why they were here. They remember that they just went out of the house when they saw Kingpin fighting with spiderman.
"Vanessa…Richard"
Kingpin couldn't believe his eyes. The ones lost had now returned. He ran to them before shoveling them into his arms and crying.
The two were confused at first but it came to them. They should be dead by now but how.
They were uncomfortable. The last thing they felt was fear.
The fear of the man who hugged them and crying now.
Sullivan thought about it a bit he needed to do some after service.
He walked to the three before speaking.
"It is time for you to repent Uncle Wilson"
Kingpin no Wilson Fisk heard him. He nodded. He knew Sullivan was helping him now as he saw the two were afraid of him. He smiled at them gently.
"I will repent."
Wilson then walked to Peter before extending his two hands to him.
He wanted Peter to arrest him.
Vanessa and Richard saw that Wilson gave himself in. They were surprised. They didn't know the identity of the spiderman but they knew Sullivan.
They wanted to ask him what had happened.
Sullivan explained everything to them. sooner or later they would know it anyway.
