Chapter 263: Chapter 263 Rescue Taiga [Edited]

Sullivan tried to find a clue to where Taiga went missing. He used magic and nen to track her down. And he didn't need to wait that long before he knew where she was.

Sullivan's expertise in magic and nen allowed him to tap into his heightened senses, honing in on the faint traces of Taiga's energy signature.

With each step, he could feel himself getting closer to her location. Finally, after following the trail diligently, Sullivan discovered Taiga's whereabouts within a matter of hours.

"Isn't this place the Matou Family house?"

Sullivan narrowed his eyes. He had a very bad impression of this family. There was only one person in this family that he liked, and that was Sakura Matou. The biological sister of Tohsaka Rin.

Sullivan's distaste for the Matou Family stemmed from their involvement in dark and forbidden magic, which contrasted with Sakura's kind and gentle nature. Despite his dislike of the family, he knew he had to put aside his personal feelings for the sake of finding Taiga.

Sullivan didn't have time to wait if Taiga was inside the Matou Family house. She might already be thrown into the pit of those nasty worms.

He used magic to make himself invisible, then went inside the house. The house was huge, but with tracking magic and nen, he could find where Taiga was pretty easily.

Her location, which he got from his magic and nen told him that she was inside some kind of room in the underground.

Sullivan moved with great speed. No one in the Matou Family could sense him. He got into the underground pretty easily.

As Sullivan ventured deeper into the underground, the air grew damp and musty. The faint sound of dripping water echoed through the dimly lit corridors, adding an eerie atmosphere to his search for Taiga.

And there he was, in front of the room where Taiga should be.

The heavy iron door stood before him, its surface covered in rust and decay.

Sullivan used magic to open the door. With a wave of his hand, Sullivan channeled his magic into the lock, causing the rusted mechanisms to creak and groan. As the door swung open, a gust of stale air rushed out, revealing a dimly lit room shrouded in shadow.

"W-Who are you, Please let me go, I can't do this anymore!"

Taiga's voice trembled with fear as she begged him. Sullivan's heart sank at the sight of Taiga's frail form, chained to the wall in the corner of the room. The desperation in Taiga's eyes made him want to help her immediately, but

"There are so many traps."

Sullivan knew he had to proceed with caution. He scanned the room, noticing the various traps scattered across the floor and walls, designed to prevent anyone from rescuing Taiga.

Sullivan took a deep breath and began devising a plan to navigate through the traps. He could use magic to levitate himself and then help Taiga from there.

However, he quickly realized that using magic might trigger even more traps or alert the captors.

"No magic, I need to use Nen then."

He also had Chakra and Aura, but they were not suitable in this kind of situation. Nen was the best option for its flexibility.

Sullivan then made a mission impossible to the place near Taiga. She was still conscious, and when she saw that he couldn't move inside the room without triggering the trap, That meant he wasn't the underling of Matou Zouken, who ordered people to abduct her here.

Sullivan was now in front of Taiga. He then removed the chain and levitated her in the air.

"Don't move, and Don't make any sound. I came here to rescue you."

Taiga nodded weakly. She would do everything he told her to if that meant she could go out of this hell.

Sullivan carefully maneuvered Taiga out of the room, making sure not to set off any traps. As they made their way towards the exit, Taiga couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that she might finally escape this nightmare.

And here they were, Outside of the Matou house. The alarm then set off. Telling everyone that there was an intruder who came to release their prisoner.

Sullivan didn't wait around and immediately apparated them away. He also wanted to help Sakura escape this house too, but he couldn't sense her anywhere in the house, so he couldn't do it.

...

Inside the Matou house. The alrams were set off. Someone had come to rescue Taiga Fuyuki. The historian who knew how to decipher an ancient text that came from an Era where gods still roam around this world

Matou Zouken was very furious now. He almost got what he had set his eyes on. But when he was about to succeed, someone broke into his house and stole that historian away!

"Who is it that dare to come to my house and steal that woman away!"

Zouken's voice echoed through the halls as he seethed with anger. His eyes narrowed, searching for any clue that could lead him to the intruder. but all he got was nothing.

"Contact the Tohsaka house. I want that girl as soon as possible."

Zouken couldn't wait anymore. He needed a new vessel. And that girl would be the best vessel for him right now.

...

Sullivan had now rescued Taiga from Matou Zouken's grasp, and he had gotten very good information from her. It looked like Matou Sakura didn't exist in this world. There was only Tohsaka Sakura, the younger sister of Tohsaka Rin.

'What a relief! That means the event in heaven's feel will not happen.'

Sullivan really hated tragedy.

Taiga was now recovering from the shock she got from the abduction. She told him that she didn't get thrown into a pit of worms, like he was afraid. But she had seen it, and she chose death over getting thrown inside of it.

Taiga looked at Sullivan with grateful eyes. If it wasn't for him. She didn't know what fate would await her.

He rescued her because he wanted to know something about Nephalem, which she had full knowledge of. He came to the right person for such a question.

"And your question about the Nephalem. I think I know something. I will tell you everything I know."

Sullivan's eyes lit up with anticipation as Taiga promised to share her knowledge about the Nephalem.

Taiga then started to tell him about Nephalem until she fell asleep due to exhaustion. Sullivan didn't ask her about the question so that she could give it to him right away.

But because she couldn't sleep, she was afraid that she would wake up and find that all of this was just a dream.

He let her do what she wanted because he knew that she would fall asleep eventually.
