Chapter 1: Chapter 1
What is life? Working, paying bills, doing taxes, and paying for a roof over our heads. Is there any point in living in an endless cycle? Every day people are born without a choice, some of us didn't ask to be born in the first place. But it is what it is we are already here, aren't we? So might as well live in this broken society. Getting thrown into this place not knowing any rules, any idea what to do, or what we were supposed to do. There isn't any goal, hope, no future, and differently no freedom, we have to live by other people's standards.
What's the point of all of this? What are we even doing? Laws aren't helpful anymore, people still live in the past. The world is moving but we are stuck in place, doing nothing to help each other or ourselves. We need a change, something new, we need hope believing there is a better future for the next generations. People are scared to take the first steps, afraid of the backslash, and doubtful of the outcome.
But what's the point of thinking about all of this when I'm already dying on a block of cold concrete? Maybe because I tried to help someone but died instead, why did I try to help in the first place? Did I want to change for the better? or get good karma for the afterlife? Who knows it's already too late to do anything now.
The biggest question here is how I still have my conscience and am able to think after so long. Don't tell me that I'm going to be reborn. That's absurd there is no way, this is reality and not fictional. That is not impossible....right?
In the novels I have read in the past, this is how the protagonist acts before going to a different world. After a while, Rob would show up and grant three wishes, and asked which world the mc wants to go to. But I've been here for a while, I guess? No Rob has shown up or a goddess.
I knew this was reality and not something magical, I got my hopes up for a bit but why did I? I don't deserve it and I haven't done any heroic deeds in my life.
Anyways I'm getting sleepy, maybe my conscience is finally disappearing and I might wake up in hell or heaven if those places actually exist.
'Yawn' I'm getting really tired, this is my time to go goodnight everybody or whatever.

In a different world, there is a school somewhere in Basin City called Springs Garden Academy, in a 3-1 classroom full of students Teacher Lin explains how to solve an equation with a method. Since the final exams coming up in a few months, Teacher Lin hopes that her students would all pass and go into a decent college, and only then she wouldn't have to worry so much. Sighing and thinking about the future she finishes up the equation and looks back at her students and asks "Did everyone understands how to solve this problem? If not then raise your hand and I will help you.''
Looking around seeing no student's hands up she couldn't help but smile a little but the smile fades away and turn into a frown. One student that is sleeping and even snoring in peace, she couldn't hold back her anger and yelled.
"YE FENG!"
Every student looked at the teacher in shock before turning their heads in the direction of the student and started smirking. Every student had a look of disdain and couldn't wait for the punishment he will receive. Everyone knew that in front of Teacher Lin is called Devil Lin because of her punishments and fearsome attitude.
Not seeing no response from the student, Teacher Lin became even more angrier and grab an easer and threw it in the direction of the student.
"Thud"
Seeing a red mark on the top of Ye Feng's head, everyone started to laugh and point at him. Nobody cared about this loser who is always wearing dirty clothes and only eating rice for lunch. Every student in the class knew about his situation and couldn't care less, since he is destined to fail. Even though he was good at his studies and has a passing grade in every class, there is no point for him since he can't go to college without any money.
Finally, after a while, the student raises his head and drooled all over his mouth and desk. He looks to his right and left with dazed and disbelief looked. He uses his arm to wipe away the drool and fully opens his eyes in shock before yelling.
''What the hell!"
Everyone started to laugh again and turn away their focus from him. not caring about him anymore.
With an annoyed look, Teacher Lin says "Ye Feng, you better start paying attention, even though you have good grades but if you want to go to college you better start focusing on your studies"
Sighing and turning around to her blackboard. she resumes her lessons with the rest of the class.
Meanwhile, Ye Feng looked down and thinks 'What the hell happen to me? I thought I was dead for sure'

'Did I really get reborn into a different world? It seems like it and I don't recognize this language and classroom.'
'Ugh' Grabbing my head in frustration and trying not to yell in pain, because this body's memories are overflowing. Damn, that was painful, I didn't expect that to hurt this much. Let's see, my name is Ye Feng seventeen years old, live alone, and have two parents that live in a small county.
The school I am attending is prestigious so I had to live alone so i can go to school also the school is far away from home. My family is broke living paycheck to paycheck and my parents saved enough money so I can go to school. I live in a 1-bedroom place, with no restroom or kitchen. If I wanted to take a piss I have to use a public shared restroom/bathroom that is connected to the apartment complex.
Even eating is a problem, since there is no kitchen or microwave, I have to use the public kitchen to eat small meals. Since is shared, people are using it daily, and no extra room for other people to cook so this body eats cup noodles every day. 'Sigh'
What a terrible life this body had, no wonder the body is so skinny and weak. Maybe I ca-

Well then I don't have to worry about this body anymore I guess and perfect male body? Damn, I can't wait to see how I look in seven days. Looking into the memories there will be a two-week break and today is Friday so the break will start in two days on Monday. Good, I can say that over the break I worked out and ate right, I don't think would believe me but who cares.
DING DING DING
Hearing the sound of the bell, Teacher Lin looks at everybody and says "Since the bell has rang and it's time to go home and the break will begin over the weekend, that doesn't mean for you to become lazy and not study. The final exams are here in a couple of months and if you want a bright future then you must work hard for it. Escpially you Ye Feng, you better not slack off, okay? Alright, dismiss.''
Not even paying a single word the teacher said I grab my bookbag and left in a hurry since I don't want to be around a big crowd. Leaving the school building and heading to the school's gates, I started to think about what kind of rewards I would get in the future. I couldn't help but to smile brightly and looks forwards to the future.
