Kaden hesitantly searched one tavern after another until he arrived at the three arrows establishment. The entire place reeked of liquor and in the corner, he spotted the old man as usual drooling from the corner of his mouth and fully knocked out.

'Tch. All of this is my money!' Kaden's heart hurt as he saw the shoddily spilled liquid on the table. This spoke tales about just how much alcohol had been consumed.

With a sigh, he ignored it and approached the guy. Immediately, the bastard sniffed him out and woke up, almost fully sober.

"Ho Ho Ho! My favorite customer! That would be another 1000 gold coins, brat!"

Kaden's face twitched. "I am not here to buy anything." He retorted, twisting his lips. "Not yet." He then had to add begrudgingly. There were still two days left for the rune's expiry. "I am here to make another request."
