Seeing the embarrassed Gerald Alex couldn't help but smile if he was any other man his ego would be through the rough but it already is so these words didn't affect him much thought Alex with a chuckle "well we will leave soon I'm assuming you two will like to come with us" said Alex as Samantha quickly nodded saying "yes yes" without giving Gerald a chance to talk leaving him in embarrassment "Thank you commander Alex for taking the time to rescue us old people" said Gerald looking at Alex more and more fanatical almost making Alex cringe this was generally how cults formed in his past life some of these cults even sacrifice there own life religiously for some god "yeah no problem glory to mankind right?" Said Alex with a chuckle as Gerald without hesitation said "glory to mankind! Glory to umbrella" followed by his wife
Meanwhile Otto and his team were driving down a peaceful road towards a village east of the gated community they are a convoy of a CDC truck followed by two unarmored military personnel trucks along the peaceful roads they saw spaced out houses with doors tightly shut an expansive farm a ymca center with no in insight and finally a church everything they drove past was deserted no one in sight that is until a couple minutes out from the village a convoy consisting of 2 militarized humvees with MGs were spotted
"Zzz… command we have ran into a small military convoy consisting of two humvees over…Zzz"
"Zzz… copy minimize conflict you have a mission to complete over…Zzz"
"Zzz… Roger…Zzz"
"Zzz… boys stay vigilant we have a mission minimize conflict…Zzz" said Otto over the radio as he told the driver to keep moving there shouldn't be any conflict what so ever the military at this point should know about the fall of bases and cities in no way will they obstruct them if they pose no threat to the military, as Otto's convoy moved the 5 soldiers in each Personnel truck vigilant with theyre rifles ready the humvees were the same although the gunners didn't point theyre MGs at the convoy they were vigilantly staring at the convoy soon enough the two convoys passed each other
At the us army reserve in north Appleton
This place at the moment looks like a fortified military base instead of a reserve the entire street has been evacuated with mesh wire fencing surrounding it and machine gun nests on the roads entering with patrols all over hundreds of soldiers in this miniature military base were either unloading boxes of ammo and food or staying at theyre makeshift barracks in the army reserve building itself it acted as the chain of command for the army in this region of Appleton
"Sir the small convoy sent to freedom town reports meeting a convoy of heavily armed PMO's" said a military officer who was infront of a laptop with a head piece "well don't come into conflict with neutral PMO's they can take some pressure with those zombies and may be off assistance later" said a middle aged man as he continued to look at a map then a laptop looking to be intently at work "sir the unit describe the convoy as a armored CDC truck leading the way for 2 personnel carrying military trucks panted all black with an umbrella written in bold letters on the side it is described that these men are extremely outfitted wearing an all black uniform with vest, pads, gas mask, a helmet with night vission it is stated that these men are carrying standard issue M4s with suppressors while some carry Machine guns oh and sir they all have the umbrella words written in red on theyre chests aswell as they're emblem" said the officer extremely lengthy but he felt he had to say it after all the words umbrella are extremely sensitive right now they all have veteran friends out of state and heard about the packages they received aswell as them sheltering veterans in the state it's safe to say umbrella is view very good especially in Wisconsin "mark the location they came from don't go into conflict with them we might have to take refuge later" said the commander of this base with a bitter smile but the last part was said so quietly only he heard it there's no way he knows a lot of information almost all big cities have fallen military equipment and infrastructure is failing left and right he himself doesn't know how long they'll last
Otto's convoy pulled up to the factories parking lot there were still a few cars here along the way through this small village they didn't see a soul "Zzz… 10 will cover the perimeter and clear the vicinity while I lead the other 10 to clear factory…Zzz"

10 men fully covered in black hop off the the personnel trucks as 2 Machine gunners from the group climbed onto the CDC truck laid down with theyre bipods aiming the perimeter while the the rest cleared and covered the factory while Otto's team prepared to clear the factory, "remember the procedures, Mickey bring up the dog let him sniff the door"
"Yes sir" said a man as he lead a German Shepard by a leash but as soon as it got near the door it started whimpering with its tail between its leg clearly frightened by something in there "sir it's the Behavior the commander warned about there must be some zombies inside" said the man with the dog as Otto nodded as he signaled his team as they started spreading out from the entrance with theyre guns ready to aim at the door way and started to countdown with his fingers as the the countdown reached zero Otto kicked the door forcing it opened with a loud bang as he retreated to the side of the doorway aiming down patiently
