"What are those things , I've never seen them in any book before?" Hermione asked curiously and everyone looked at nick for an answer. "They are a sort of elemental construct that I call atronachs. They are my most recent achievement infact , pretty cool right?" Nick asked proudly after introducing the things to everyone. "They aren't alive then?" Arthur asked seriously. Nick shook his head "Not at all , they are much more like golems than an actual lifeform since they are elemental magic give form and purpose." he explained calmly. "What all varieties do they have? Are you willing to sell any of them?" Florian asked eagerly.-
"At the moment I have a few different kinds of flame atronachs , some frost atronachs , three wind atronachs and several storm atronachs. As for selling them I am sorry to say that due to the method used to create them they are all bound to me exclusively." Nick explained honestly. "A pity , I was rather interested in that lovely blue flame variant there." Florian said and Nick couldn't help but agree with his tastes as it was definitely the most beautiful of all of the atronachs. At this moment Seram walks out of the forest causing everyone to stiffen in fear.-
"These are all guests I take it?" the huge manticore asked calmly. "Indeed they are at the moment." Nick said equally calmly. "Sorry for the scare everyone this is Seram , the guardian of this island from any unwanted visitors who may come across it." Nick explained with a smile. Bloody hell , I thought you were joking mate!" Ron says in amazement. "Nope I was very much truthful about the things I said are on this island so do remember to be careful while you are here , there are things that are decidedly less friendly than Seram here." Nick warns seriously.-
As if on que Nazgul swoops down from the sky at her full size and lands on the ground kicking up a bit of dust as she does so. The adults all looked worried for the children's safety up until Luna rushed over to Nicks familiar and showered her in attention with happy squeals. Nazgul looked intimidating but it was pretty clear she was fairly friendly as she rolled over to let Luna rub her belly with contentment. "For those of you who haven't met her yet this adorable creature is Nazgul , my familiar and ruler of all the beasts on this island" Nick introduced calmly.-
"Must be quite powerful if she is higher on the food chain than a manticore like that." Sirius said while pointing at Seram for comparison. The manticore scoffed "Compared to her I may as well be a housecat in terms of danger. For all of your sakes pray nothing angers her or you may discover why that is." She warned seriously before leaving. "Stop making those faces she is extremely even tempered as to this day nothing has managed to anger her yet." Nick said reassuringly which help the adults relax after the rest of Nicks friends verified that he wasn't lying.-
"Enough of that , please come in and I'll show you to your lodgings for while you are here!" Nick said brightly before walking over to the doors of the manor an pushing them open to reveal the inside of it. "Also before I forget this island is shrouded by a protective ward that prevents and signals from entering or exiting it so the trace of the ministry does not apply here so feel free to you magic as you wish while here." Nick added as he used magic to lift all the luggage.-
"Are you not concerned that the ministry might learn of this matter?" Arthur asked curiously. He worked for the ministry after all and found it difficult to understand how Nick could so openly spit in the face of one of it's laws. "That law was created to protect the statute of secrecy since most muggle borns return to that side of civilization during the holidays or summer breaks. However did you know that if those same muggleborn students were to cast a spell in a magical or isolated place away from muggles the ministry won't say a thing about it?"-
"It might seem like reporting me might do something but it will not accomplish anything since there are no muggles here and this place is isolated from the outside world. In other words while on this island some laws can be ignored." Nick said casually. No one could argue with him either as he was right in that what the ministry doesn't know about it also doesn't care about. The thing that most of the adults were concerned about however was that Nick didn't care that what he was doing was technically illegal at all.
