Chapter 20: Chapter 19: The Task Master's Favorite

The Forrest Edge, The Eastern Province, Town Of Carran...

The rugged dark ranger known as Kedon had not much liked the look of the new town as he slowly made his way along the edge of the forest with a rather unsettled and weary Tumbris Kellengar and a rather fierce Lena of The Sheani at his side. He had no doubt that there would be staring and a lot more asinine questions to follow him as he ventured into town for work as people had been less and less accustomed to elves not being bound by way of chains or already in captive service in these lands. Kedon had been in no mood for the mortals that constantly cowered in fear as he passed as he happened upon the listings for a few local quests given to the board by way of the elected Taskmaster Elwood Hoppins. The old man seemed to need a lot of muscle as of late with many bandit sightings and caravans stolen before being able to transport goods to and from town.

Kedon took a few of the scrolls from the board amid the whispers from the nosy and cowering towns folk before heading toward the local pub. He had known he'd run into his fair share of prejudice due to his elven entourage, but he didn't much care about the opinions of weaklings. They were in his service as much as riding his cock and carrying his seed had been a kind of service anyway. Lena had been more or less been the one that drew the most attention due to her having been a purely born dark elf of a long-forgotten tribe and a female at that.

"How much for the female elf?" asked a rather impulsive old bastard with rotted teeth and a handful of gold in his dirty hands.

"She ain't for sale nor acts my friend so take your leave," growled Kedon insulted that something so grotesque in human form could have ever fixed his mouth to even ask about whether or not he could stick his inferior cock in his woman, Elven or not, she'd been carrying his children and his seed came first.

"I've got the Solaires, lots of them!" insisted the tediously dirty man. "Why can't I get a poke at the beautiful elf girl?"

Kedon had been at a loss for patience as he grabbed the bumbling fool and slammed him onto the ground gripping his throat with enough force to crush his windpipe should he ask again when he'd already been turned down the first time.

"For the last time, I said she's not for sale in any fashion now get the fuck away from me before I rip your inferior cock from your body and shove it down your throat for bothering me," growled Kedon making the bumbling fool terrified. He stared at the red-glowing eyes of the man beneath the dark hood and felt his body go weak in the wake of his superior strength.

"W-Whatever you say," he said terrified. "Y-You won't hear from me again I promise."

Kedon tossed him about and proceeded toward the road where he'd take on the first of the five scrolled contracts that he'd taken from the taskmaster's board.

The tossed-about lout had scrambled to his feet still weak in the knees as a few concerned fellows of the same ilk seemed to swarm him for answers to their unasked questions.

"Who was that?" asked one of them still looking off in Kedon's direction as he and his elves parted with their task in hand.

"A monster." replied the bumbling fool. "Don't get too close, to him or the elves."

The rest of the men seemed to take the warning as they scurried away from the bumbling fool not wishing to be harmed by association if he had earned the mysterious Dark Ranger's ire.

It seemed no matter where Kedon Wilderwood ventured be it alone or in a group, people had known about his rather unsettling reputation and significantly unmatched level of skill.

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

The Forrest Edge, The Eastern Province, Outskirts Of The Town Of Carran...

Kedon's blood had still been boiling from his encounter back in Carran and as a result, he'd been more than ready for his latest task in bandit clean up. He instructed Tumbris and Lena to set up camp for the evening and stay out of the line of sight of both the town and the bandit camp he'd been sent to destroy on the outskirts of Carran, Tumbris had not seemed to like the idea of Kedon leaving him alone with Lena, whom he had not been too fond of since awakening to find her riding his master's cock and begging to have his children. She'd been a dark elf after all and not someone to be trusted given her shady clan's ties to an assortment of crimes before the menfolk began to venture into the deepest parts of the forest.

Still, not one to defy an order from his master, Tumrbis Kellengar obeyed him and stayed with Lena. The dark elf had been making herself quite at home with them as she ordered him to set up camp as if he'd been a peasant in her eyes despite her pointed ears and darker skin. While Tumbris had not recalled much from his youth about being a wild elf, he'd been well-versed in the legends surrounding the likes of The Dark Clan Sheani. Horror stories that had been passed around by his people for generations in warning to their children venturing through the forest about the twisted elvan folk that roamed the wilds shifting like animals and vying for blood.

Kedo had gone out ahead toward the Bandit camp with Ferkus right with him snarling and eager to sink his rather sharp teeth into the first bandit he could get his jaws on. He approached the camp rather boldly with his arrow on his back and his keen eyes scouting the number of vile bandits that had taken refuge in this makeshift camp. He was more than a little disappointed that the number implied on the writ had not been what he saw in the actual encampment, he sighed supposing that he'd have to make do with a mere 200 bandits as opposed to the suspected 600 on the list.

Taking a moment to take in a bit of fresh woodland air before his most interesting fight yet, Kedon Wilderwood boldly approached the bandit camp without a weapon drawn and a gleam behind his seemingly hypnotic eyes. This assignment would be much too easy for him in all aspects, but at least the bandits had weapons.

Taking on a small army was better than no army after all.
