Chapter 412: Set His Eyes

Abel massaged the back of his neck as he made his way towards the Queen Mother's office. "I guess this is better than the Queen Mother asking me to have Ezme as a wife instead," he murmured to himself. He already knew why the Queen Mother was asking for his presence. Obviously, it was about Lady Dani and the incident between them. 

Aside from Dani and Mason whom he already killed, no one knew about his relationship with Rosela. Still, despite the man being dead, his face darkened as he recalled the memories Mason had when he drank his blood. He had tasked him to look after Rosela and report everything to him, but she ended up manipulating Mason using her body instead. It was upsetting enough that he quickly had to compose himself before opening the door and entering the Queen Mother's office.

"Your Highness," he politely greeted with a curt bow.

"Come," she said as she gestured towards the nearest chair. "Sit. We have much to talk about."
