It was the day of Aeos, The Day of New Beginnings, and the sun shone once more after the long night, for the longest day of the year.

But even the longest day has its time, and so the sun was quickly making its way down, as the day of celebration neared its end the rowdy crowds broke apart in drunken stupor for much-needed rest.

Lucian stepped out of the colosseum in his tattered garments, he was glad for it because it made it easier for him to blend in with the crowds as he wandered into the streets of the entertainment district.

Usually, it was at around this time that the district would start to gather its usual crowds but this day was the exception, as people of all walks of life crawled out in tired heaps.

Lucian sympathised with the tired eyes they bore as it was something he predicted would be his natural disposition with the years to come.
