Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Awakening Immortality
"I don't want to die. Somebody help me! I'm in so much pain! Please somebody help me! Father, mother, I am sorry !" Those were the thoughts of this boy.
As he was expecting someone's help his consciousness was fading away. His eyes became blurry. Even at this moment he was expecting someone's help. But maybe his pleading was his turning point of fate. As his consciousness was fading away he heard something but soon his consciousness faded away.
Around midnight his consciousness came back and he was starting to wake up.
He started to slowly open his eyes but in his sight everything was red.
"Huh, huh. Where am I?"
As he was speaking air came from mouth as it blowed some sands around his mouth.
*Arghh* The boy expected he will experience some pain but to his surprise he was fine. Maybe he was even better before he got beaten.
He tried to wipe out the blood from his eyes. After he wiped it out he was surprised from what he saw. His finger which had gotten cut has regrown. He checked his entire body but it seems there is not even a scratch on his body. There are some dried blood stains on his body but thats it.
"Huh, I don't have any injuries! How is that possible?"
The boy was thinking the reason for his recovery. He pondered for a while but nothing came to his mind. Then he suddenly remembered what he learned about awakening process and it's effect in his class.
Awakening was a process for hunters to awake their hidden potential as ability. When one awaken their ability they experience immense pain while some experience immense pleasure. It's different from person to person. Rumors have that some person even got a healing effect while awakening.
'D...D..did I awaken without awakening stone? They say you may die while awakening that way if the process isn't smooth." With just the thought gave him immense fright.
"L..L..let's test it out."

As soon as he said that, a transparent window appeared in front of him.

Noah was so happy that he started crying.
"Sob, sob, finally I am a hunter. Now I can help my family."
He looked at the skill again and saw it was passive skill not active. But his class teacher said when a hunter awaken he/she will awaken an active skill and that skill will determine which path he will choose.
"Huh, why is my ability passive? Shouldn't I have an active ability when I first awaken? Is there something wrong with me?" Noah thought with a confused expression.
"Now which path can I choose? I wanted to be an assassin because of my body but now I don't even know what will I do!" Thinking this Noah's heart shanked. But he got cheerful next moment.
"At least I awakened as a hunter. That should be a good reason to celebrate. Ok I have decided, I will check system notifications to check how I awakened."
Then he taped on (Notification) word. A long screen appeared in front of him.
