Chapter 1: ~The Betrayal~
"Not even the extermination of you till your ninth generation can atone for the pains you inflicted upon my soul~ Fa Mingxia
The sound of rattling chains could be heard below in the underground dungeon as well as the writhing sounds of a figure and constant screams of agony that escaped its lips.
A few maids sneered in disgust in their hearts wondering why their mistress would not just kill this person once for all.
"Hehe" all the maids suddenly grew stiff at the giggling sound as they turned their heads towards a beautiful young woman, she was dressed in a white hanfu with red phoenixes designed as layers, she had beautiful Phoenix eyes and eyebrows that screamed seductress when raised lightly, her pink lips were slightly curved giving what seemed to be a calm yet sinister smile.
The maids couldn't help but sigh in their hearts. This was Wang Ye rin, one of the great 4 heavenly beauties, current Empress of the Xia continent and soon to be Heavenly Master.
All the maids bowed down with their hands folded in front as they echoed "Greetings Empress"
She simply waved her hands at them telling them to rise, at this point the only reason she was here was to make sure that she dies, for how many years she had been planning for her death and now that she had the opportunity, the power, she would make sure that she destroys her to the point that not even the ashes will be found.
Suddenly with a cold tune, she called out
"Wang Hua!" a girl stiffened at the name as sweat dripped around her forehead, other maids made way for her as she stood behind them, she was very thin, deathly pale in complexion and her eyes were dull, her hands were fisted tightly at her sides as her purplish like lips quivered continuously, the sight was something that disgusted everyone as if one did not look closely then she would be considered a living corpse.
Ye rin stared at the girl in disgust as she dug her hands into her robe, suddenly out of nowhere she brought out a long whip and lashed onto the girl as she yelled angrily
"Impudent! Do you not know how to greet this, Empress!"
The maid let out a blood curling scream as she felt a part of her flesh removed from her skin, looking bitterly at the woman who had whipped her, she slowly cupped her hands together as she bowed while speaking resentfully
"This unworthy lowly servant greets Royal Empress"
At first Ye rin smiled at the words but after a while her face darkened as she understood the underlying meaning behind the sentence, her rage grew ten folds as she raised the whip once more and this time in an attempt to end the filthy girl's life
Suddenly a painful scream echoed from the underground dungeon causing the whip in motion to stop midair. A sinister smile was planted on Ye rin beautiful face as the screams became much louder.
"En" she replied to herself, as she walked towards the iron door entrance of the dungeon, her phoenix eyes gleamed brightly at the continuous painful screams as sadistic ideas penetrated her heart.
Meanwhile within the underground dungeon;
A messy figure lay suspended in the air by chains, foul stale blood continuously spilled from the shoulders and knees as both the hands and legs had been cut off, the chains holding the figure at the shoulders and knees were red hot as they were heated continuously thereby deeply burning into the skin, welt marks from continuous whipping could be seen through the tattered parts of the ragged clothing as well as hideous scars both from old and new wounds.
The figure writhed at times causing the pain from the hot iron on the fleshy wounds to increase by a thousand folds, this pain made the figure screamed continuously, tears could no longer be seen on the face as the eyes were now bloodshot, the hair was wet and sticky with sweat and blood, while the lips had been bruised to an unrecognizable state by continuous biting.
This figure was simply terrifyingly to look at as people who had managed to catch a glimpse of it couldn't help but cower in fear and disgust at the hideous creature, unknown to them that this was once a beautiful human being, to be exact, it was their 3rd young miss Wang Fa Mingxia,
A beauty known to rival even the greatest heavenly beauty but now everything was different, she had been betrayed by the one she loved the most ,plotted against by her very own eldest sister and thrown away by her family when they figure out that she was finally useless, as she failed to unlock her qi powers from young she had been given the term as "wastrel and useless".
Her stepmother had been poisoning her young body for the past 8 years with han qi poison thereby destroying her meridians before she even had a chance to cultivate, her father although he doted on her but when several accusations were pointed towards her as well as the fact that she was useless in cultivation, he cruelly disposed of her.
"Mei Mei" a sweet sadistic voice called out within the entrance of the dungeon. Fa Mingxia raised her head slightly even with her blood shot eyes she was still able to recognize a devil incarnate when she saw one " Jie Jie" she replied sarcastically, her voice hoarse and covered with layers of malice as she stared at her elder sister with murder intent.
A slight chuckle left Ye rin lips as she approached her "Mie Mie how could you be so cold; can't you see that I brought you a present" Suddenly a whip like sound was heard as a young girl screamed loudly.
Fa Ming hitched at the sound as the eyes which were once devoid of tears soon started trickling slowly "Wang Hua" she spoke softly. However, the continuous sounds of screams echoed in response as Ye rin's whip continuously assaulted the maid's body. " Ye rin let her go! You devil" she bellowed loudly, Ye rin paused her actions as she glared at Fa Mingxia hatefully
"Audacious! How dare you speak to me like that, you call me a devil but now look at yourself, you are not even considered a human anymore, your own biological father disposed of you because you were deemed useless, poison runs in your blood from years of accumulation.
All these years I knew that if I did not cut you off, you would end up taking everything that is rightfully mine so bear no grudge against me my sweet Mei Mei it's not my fault that you cannot receive the blessings of goodwill. You are cursed! just like your pathetic mother, doomed from the moment you were born to lead a pathetic and sorrowful life"
"Then why?" Fa Mingxia murmured angrily "Why not grant me a quick death from the onset"
At these words a sinister smile spread on Ye rin lips as she spoke happily "Oh Mei Mei, you are too foolish for your own good, did you really think I would let you die peacefully, oh No! I hate you Fa Mingxia, I hate you to the extent that I requested my beloved to have your body parts dismembered so that even when the King of Yama sees you in the underworld, he will be disgusted by your stained and pathetic appearance"
Fa Mingxia eyes froze at her words as she asked confusingly "Beloved?
"Ahh! That! I think I must thank younger sister for this part as if not for you, this great Empress would not have ended up being with Feng lingyun"
At that moment Fa Mingxia felt that her heart had been stabbed by a thousand swords --- not just stabbed but burnt to a state that not even the ashes of her despair could be seen.
Feng lingyun had been her betrothed since birth, he was a gentle man with a cold personality, an illegitimate prince who had played with her affections and made her do dirty things in order to help him gain support for the throne, she had went as far as using her beauty to seduce the original crown Prince and eventually ended up poisoning him rendering him from a Heavenly Lord to a mere Martial artist thereby giving Feng lingyun ample opportunity to seize the right to crown prince from his brother.
Although he had betrayed her but for him to have accepted a request for her body dismemberment was something that even in her next life she would never had imagined.
A cruel laugh suddenly left her lips as she realized just how foolish she had been, she had helplessly fallen for the devil himself. At this point she felt that Death was probably the best thing for her at the moment although she had no idea how her after life would be, the suffering she had beared within this world could not be worse from the painful flames of hell itself.
Her eyes slowly darted to the unconscious Wang Hua who had fainted from excess blood loss, from her ragged breathing she could tell that she would not live long, her dead heart stirred slightly as she apologized to this maid continuously in her heart, Wang Hua had been continuously warning her about her betrothed and Wang Ye rin but she had trusted them over her even went as far as punishing her severely at times out of anger but maybe if she had listened--- maybe if she had been more careful perhaps things would have been different.
A hot feeling suddenly engulfed her body as she felt heat all over her, listening closely she could hear the sounds of sizzling flame --- her lips raised slightly as she thought to herself---- so this woman does not really want her to die peacefully, to go to the extent of burning her to death just what sin had she committed in this life!
Her skin could be seen burning off as layers of burned flesh were removed excruciatingly from her body---- the foul smell of burning flesh filled the dungeon as silent screams left her lips. Ye rin's eyes gleamed in happiness at her pain as she spoke sarcastically ---- I will make sure that not even your ashes will be found on this earth Fa Mingxia, even if you get re-incarnated, I will hunt you down in the next life and you will suffer a much more painful fate!
Fa Mingxia silently heard these words as she repeated a few lines in her head --- In her next life she would not be foolish! in her next life she would not love! In her next life to all those who had betrayed her she would be out for their blood! In her next life she would be the demoness birthed from the agonizing flames of hell!
At this she was suddenly engulfed in the peaceful embrace of the darkness.
