Chapter 161: Unnamed

Tristan who wasn't convinced by all they said was about to argue further when his cell phone dinged.

Reaching out his right hand he picked up the phone from where it lay on the side table.

"A message from Giavanna!" Tristan murmured. His eyeballs turned tender even without seeing the content of the message she sent.

"I really wanted to see you wake up but unfortunately the circumstances left me with no other choice but to leave earlier. However, don't worry I call frequently to know what you are doing. Remember to eat and take your medications," Tristan silently read the message Joanna left for him.

"Is that from her?" Mackenzie, who noticed the change in Tristan's expression, asked while trying to peep at the screen of the cell phone in his hand.

"Yes, she said something urgent came up but that she will call often to check up on how I am doing," Tristan replied. He pressed the phone's side button before he placed it beside him on the bed.
