It was finally time for the last match of the tournament before I become a Shinobi. My journey to this world has been very interesting up to this point and to be honest I am really enjoying my new life.
In my previous life, I became a soldier to have some thrill and excitement in my life. But the thrill and excitement in this life is way more than my previous life. Once I become a Shinobi, it will only increase.
Both me and Chino made our way to the arena with a loud applause from the crowd.
She was going to be a tough opponent especially considering that she could literally flood the arena with the blood red water stored in her gourd without any chakra and use it as she wished.
If she managed to wound me and tried to control my blood then she wouldn't be able to do it because my breathing technique has enhanced my body system and taking control over my body would be very tough.
"Are you two ready?" asked Genkai Sensei
"Yes"
"Begin" He announced
Chino released the iron rich water from the gourd and also slit her wrists so that her blood can increase her control over the water.
She was going all out right from the beginning.
She put her hands on the water.
'Secret Ninja art: Blood Tsunami'
The water started flowing up into a tsunami.
This tsunami of iron rich water was heading towards me threatening to crush me under its pressure.
I took out my katana and lifted it up and struck it downwards.
'Water breathing:Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin, Destruction'
It unleashed multiple gargantuan waterfalls which created a tsunami of water on my side.
The two tsunamis clashed which led to a lot of water pressure and huge waves .
The water rushed towards the audience in the stands. Genkai Sensei used his dark release to absorb the water which was going to hit the audience.
The huge waves also led both me and Chino to lose our balance on the water and fell underwater.
The audience except the Hyuga clanhead and the sensors couldn't see anything happening underwater.
Chino and we both swimmed towards each other. She used all the surrounding water which has merged with her iron rich water to her advantage.
'Ninja art: Blood Coffin'
All the red rich water surrounded me and tried to crush me into a paste.
Using my blade, I performed a fierce whirling motion which generated a whirlpool of air and water which shredded apart anything caught within its current like a giant sharp blade.
This led to the creation of a large cyclone made out of both air and water.
All the water which occupied the arena formed by me and Chino's previous jutsu formed this cyclone.
Chino tried to control the water in the cyclone but was unable to do it and was cut multiple times by the air current. The surrounding winds and water were going to smash the entire arena.
Four Uzumakis arrived at four different corners and performed a barrier ninjutsu.
'Ninja art:Four flames formation'
A purple colour transparent barrier was formed covering the entire arena.
This barrier stopped the cyclone to go outside the arena and prevented any person from the audience getting hurt.
"What the hell is this jutsu? Did he use the water vortex jutsu?" asked Hashirama surprised by this development
"No, Hokage sama he used another of his sword techniques. By swinging his sword in a rapid motion he created a whirlpool of air and water which was created by his unique sword technique combined with the water already in the arena made this cyclone." said the Hyuga clan head
"He would need a lot of strength to create the whirlpool of air." said Tobirama
"He has been training his physical strength and his sword techniques since he was 3." said Ashira
"Uzukage San Your grandson is really a genius among geniuses. His kenjutsu is unparalleled. I have not seen such swordsmanship from even an experienced elite Jonin." said the Kazekage, Reto
"At this point I think his sword techniques is more of a kekkei genkai than kenjutsu or ninjutsu." said the Hyuga clanhead
Everyone was surprised to hear this and looked at Uzukage for some confirmation.
"Hohoho, What can I say, he inherited the best genes." Arashi said proudly while stroking his small beard without giving any confirmation whether it was a kekkei Genkai or not since he didn't even know himself.
"So it seems the winner has been decided. I was really impressed by the Itsuki kid who despite having an Aburame bloodline used bees just like my Kamizuru clan." said the Tsuchikage, Ishikawa Kamizuru.
Once I stopped swinging my sword. The cyclone also stopped and I landed on the ground gracefully and Chino landed with a thud. She was covered with a lot of cuts.
"The winner is Yoriichi Uzumaki." Genkai Sensei announced and the crowd burst into a cheer. The four Uzumakis who have put the barrier removed it.
I checked on Chino and thankfully she didn't receive any serious injuries. The medical staff took her to the hospital to heal her proudly.
Grandpa stoop up from his seat and said
"Today we have witnessed greatness, the first ever battle where the shinobi didn't fight in a war or for territory or for money but for their honour to become a Shinobi. It was a battle where there were no casualties. I hope with this tournament, everyone of these kids will watch out the backs of their fellow competitors in real battles. The top 16 of the tournament will become Genin and the rest of the participants will become a Genin on the basis of judges decision."
"I would like to congratulate you all young ones for becoming a Shinobi. You are embarking on a great adventure, full of new places and great experiences. There is nothing more admirable than giving up your freedom by becoming a Shinobi to preserve the freedom of the people who live in our Village. Sometimes, you will have to fight through some bad days to get to the best days."
"When times get rough, remember you have an entire platoon of "brothers" and "sisters" to lean on in the village. In your life as a Shinobi, You're going to learn so many useful skills. Whenever you feel weak, remember what made you strong. Whenever you doubt yourself, remember that the Village believes in you. As for the final thing I will say is that always remember you have a family that loves you and thinks of you constantly not just your immediate family but also the village as a whole."
A huge roar was there followed by a huge clapping sound to grandpa's speech. I felt proud to become a Shinobi of such a village.
And with this my journey as a 'Legal' Shinobi now begins.

Yeah tournament arc ends. I realised that I have made it a little big but well it already happened and I might have already written a fairly long mission too. So yeah deal with it. I will try to shorten the number of chapter for each arc.
