Chapter 73: Journey to the kage summit (1)

Almost three months have passed since that last B-Rank mission which had turned into an A ranked mission. Y'all should have seen the look on the faces of mom, dad and grandpa when they heard that I managed to defeat two elite jonins on my own.
Grandpa wanted to go to Konoha to blab about how good his grandson is and how he killed 2 elite jonins at the tender age of 11 to Uncle Hashi in Konoha. If not for dad stopping him, he would have really gone there.
During the past 3 months, We completed 5 B rank Missions and another B rank mission which later turned out to be an A rank. Thankfully thanks to Genkai sensei, no one was killed in action in our team.
Genkai Sensei is strong. Too strong. Anyways, aside from training and doing missions in these past 3 months, I got promoted as a Chunin. Yup, I am a chunin now.
I was still with my team as apparently you don't have to leave your team if you get promoted and you will still be trained by your Jonin sensei.
The other genin teams were also doing pretty well. It was time to get the tailed beasts and it was decided that Itsuki would be the jinchuriki of seven tails. He was ready for this responsibility and excited to meet an insect tailed beast.
The other jinchuriki was not decided yet as the other tailed beast that Uzushiogakure is getting has not been finalized yet.
It was now time for us to leave the village for the kage summit.
We got ready to leave the village. Grandpa escorts will be me, mom, Genkai sensei and a member of Chinoike clan, Chimon Chinoike. He is an A-rank shinobi of the Chinoike clan. He had done and completed various A rank and even a few S rank missions since the Chinoike clan joined the village. He had a slim build but he carried a heavy looking gourd which had the water with high iron content.
"Is everyone ready?" Grandpa asked
"Yes Grandpa. Let's go!" I said excitedly
We started our journey towards the Land of grass where the kage summit will be held. We have to cross the entire country of fire to reach there so it's going to be a long journey.
Fire country was big and I mean really big. No wonder every great village wanted a piece of it.
-3 Days later-
While we were travelling, we all suddenly stopped.
"Looks like someone doesn't want us to reach the kage summit Grandpa." I said grinning evilly with my hand on Muramasa itching to draw it.
"Can I play with them grandpa please?" I gave him a puppy eyed look which he obviously couldn't resist.
"Damn brat, You have grown up don't be like a child. Fine, you can have fun with them but the S rank Shinobi will be dealt by your mom. And no objections. Whoever sent them underestimated a kage too much, just sending 1 - S rank shinobi ,2- A ranks ,5- B Ranks and 30- C ranks. Do they think I am an academy student as they have sent C rank Shinobi after me?" Grandpa said
"Genkai, Chimon be ready to help the brat if he is in trouble." Grandpa told Sensei and Chimon
"Hey are you guys going to come out or should I make you come out?" I shouted
I waited for a few seconds but no one came out of their hiding spots
"Oh well, I warned you all. Don't blame me now."
I put my hand on my katana's handle ready to draw it
'Fire Breathing, Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun and extend Muramasa.'
I made an upward vertical slash while my blade extended for 300 meters which put the entire area on flames.
I saw those shinobis come out of their hiding spot. Two of them were missing a limb each and were bleeding. Oh and I might have cut 3 or 4 of them.
"Oh sorry guys, I just wanted to make you guys come out." I bowed to them sounding very sorry while sheathing Muramasa back.
"Damn you kid. You will pay for this. Dieee" One of them said and rushed at me.
I dodged him easily and said "One of the basic rules of being a Shinobi- Don't let emotions take over your actions and you failed miserably at that."
I then beheaded him with a swift strike to his neck.
"You bunch of idiots. Let me handle the brat. You go for the others." A bearded old man said as he weaved hand signs.
'Mud style : Mud golem'
The whole ground below us turned into a mud and then into a golem as big as a large summon.
The man was sitting on top of the golem made out of mud. He must be the S rank shinobi based on his chakra. Oh well, He is mom's opponent. I pity the old man.
I ignored the old man and went for the other shinobis who were headed towards grandpa who was leisurely drinking tea where did he even get the tea from.
The old man got angry after I ignored him "You brat, you dare ignore me. You will pay for this with your life." He tried to smash me with the golem's hand but the hand got destroyed by a crystal dragon.
"How dare you attack my little baby you old fart. Now dieeee." Mom said and I almost died out off embarrassment there.
I ignored there fight and focused on the cannon fodder who were rushing towards Grandpa. I moved infront of them and between them and grandpa.
I put my hand forward as lighting coarced through it.
'Chidori Sharp Spear'
With that one of the shinobi was pierced by a lightning rod. But I wasn't done yet.
'Raika'
And with that all the C rank Shinobi were pierced by lightning rods coming out of the previous one. That's how you get rid of 20 shinobis in one go baby.
"You don't seem to be shinobi from the same village. You all lack teamwork. You all seem to be working independently. Hired mercenaries perhaps." I said while praising myself for my deduction skills.
One of the men looked at me as if he realised something as he said "He is the rising star of Uzushiogakure. The grandson of the Uzukage. The one in the bingo books with the name of 'The demon swordsman' with a bounty of 20 million ryo."
