Chapter 10: Trunks Saga 6
After Goku came back, Trunks soon enough went to talk with him alone. The others were a bit down by it but they allowed it. Though without their knowledge, Piccolo was listening to everything.
Vegeta already knew what would come from it, having his future memories cuts a lot of unnecessary talk.
Trunks went to explain everything to Goku. That he came from the future and that in 3 years 2 androids would appear, then they would go to massacre everyone, including his father Vegeta. And not only this but that he, Goku, would die of a heart virus that was incurable at this time. Goku took everything with a serious face, especially when Trunks said that they were strong.
He wanted to fight these enemies and test himself against them. But at this moment, his mind was also directed to another person, Vegeta. After he learned that not only Vegeta could become a Super Saiyan but that he defeated Frieza too, Goku's body went full with fighting spirit. He wants to have a sparring match with Vegeta.
But first he needs to give the information to his friends, they need to know this and possibly avoid unnecessary deaths.
Piccolo heard everything and gave a strange look at Vegeta and Bulma. Now he understood why they are so close right now.
When Goku comes back, he and, with Piccolo's help, tries to explain everything to his friends. Every single one of them was surprised at first, but after some time, they were able to muster some spirit and affirm that they would start to train.
And then Bulma tried to come up with the obvious solution: "Why don't we just kill Dr.Gero right now? We can ask the dragon ball to find his lab, or even I can do some digging and find it. And then just *bang* and *pil pil* and its over"
"No way!!!!!" both Goku and Vegeta almost screamed at the same time to Bulma, almost frightening her with the intensity.
"I want to fight them and see what they are capable of. And to improve myself." Vegeta says with a stern face. He wouldn't allow this to be postponed, he needs it to grow stronger.
"Right me too, i want to test myself against them. It would be a shame to end this so fast", Goku says with an innocent smile. Vegeta nods at him.
"This Saiyan's head of yours will be our undoing! Especially you Vegeta. I thought you were the smart one!" Bulma was almost at his face trying to convince him to think back.
"No, besides i already used the Dragon a few months ago. From my knowledge, you can't use it again right now". He will not be convinced otherwise. Even by her.
"Tch...you stubborn...Fine then" Bulma just gave up for now. The fact is that she was worried since the boy said that most of them had died. That includes Vegeta too, right?
"Well, I don't want to die, so I'll train", Krillin said with a confidence that didn't match his power.
Everyone agrees, they have to train hard in these 3 years. They don't want to be unprepared this time.
While everyone was agreeing on training, Goku, Piccolo and Vegeta were closely chatting for a bit.
"You too became a lot stronger, Piccolo. Honestly, I thought it was you who defeated Frieza". Goku was checking Piccolo's power. He was happy that his friends were making progress. It was one more person for him to fight against.
"No, this time it was him. And he finished both of them in no time", Piccolo said, pointing at Vegeta. Even he was surprised by Vegeta's power this time.
"So I heard. You are a lot stronger now, Vegeta. I really want to fight you. Oh! Why don't you come train with us? Piccolo is coming too", inviting the guy that almost killed them at his home, only Goku to think things like that.
"You can come and fight me any time you want. Though I'll refuse the invitation for now. I have to deal with others things first". Vegeta had an easy smile at him, most of his expressions are interpreted as arrogance to most people.
Though this time he was genuinely interested in training with Goku. He knows that both of them can get better if they train together. Although their paths are different, they are able to spot weakness in each other every time they fight in the future.
A good rivalry.
"I see, well come anytime you want. Well, we will be going then, see you guys in 3 years", Goku said while taking Gohan with him, though before taking full flight he looked back at Bulma.
"Oh, hope you have a healthy baby, Bulma" and then they all took flight without explaining the last phrase.
"Hm? What is this, are you pregnant, Bulma?" Krillin asked, confused. A confused Yamcha looked at her too.
"Of course not, you can't get pregnant from a kiss. What is he talking about?" Bulma says, like it's the most common thing to answer that.
Everyone shook their heads and looked at Vegeta, who was already going his way. After that, they all disperse too, each going for a 3-year training.
Vegeta was walking slowly thinking about a good time to go to the marked planet to look for Cooler.
"Oy, Vegeta, take me to my ship, I can't walk all the way there" Bulma ran a little bit to catch up to him while he was thinking.
It became easier for her to approach him, he lower his guard around her, but at the same time, he always tease her even more.
Vegeta looked at her and grabbed her hand and brought her so close to him, that she pressed against his body.
Bulma's head stopped work for a brief moment. She could feel his heart beating and his breathing in her face. Looking at him this time, she noticed that he was in fact taller than her. She always had to look up to see his face.
"Hmph. You really change your ton when you're alone with me, huh." Vegeta says, looking her in the eyes. He didn't want the others to see the face that Bulma had right now. He thought that it was something that only he was allowed to see at the moment.
Licking her lips, Bulma fumbled at her answer. The only thought right now was to jump on him here, in a desert area "I-it because of you. You keep... looking at me like that. Even putting your hands on my ass...Pervert"
After saying this she didn't stop herself anymore and went to kiss him, though unexpected to her she stopped as if she needed him to allow her to do the act.
Before, in front of the others, the thought didn't pass through her head, but now alone she wanted his approval.
"No" with a command voice Vegeta didn't allow. He didn't let her go and, in fact, brought her even closer, whispering in her ears.
"Though if you want to continue, you can jump on me today" He wanted her to do the act, and to tease her a little bit about all this. Of course, if she doesn't act, then he will be one jumping on her soon enough.
He hugged her and flew with her to the place where she landed her plane. On the way there, Bulma was thinking about what to do that night. Since he made the invitation, then why not?
