Chapter 50: Galatic Torunament[6]
Laid down not so close to the battle, the four comrades of Bojack try to think of a good chance to join the fight.
They were faking sleep until now, and they could see that their enemies were not paying attention to them, or they just didn't care if they did something.
They could see that their leader went with full force now, so if they want to join, it is now.
Three of them quickly got up and flew to the place of the battle. Zangya, on the other hand, hesitates. She got on her feet, and when her three comrades moved, she stopped. She could feel a gaze on her, and when she turned around, she confirmed who it was.
When she saw his eyes, her body stopped moving, and the creeping fear that crawled on her back when she fights him was coming back, but with more intensity now.
Back when she fought Vegeta, she was confident, strong, even thinking of easily winning the fight. But when she looks at his face, she could only see cold boredom. He didn't even see her as an opponent to defeat, let alone an enemy.
That was the first time she felt like a worm; the fear passed through her body, and when she snapped out of it, his fist was already knocking her out cold.
Now that she is remembering it, it makes her body slow down, and her fighting spirits vanished for the time. She never would have known that this decision truly saved her life.
Back to Bojack, now that he was at full power, he became confident, and it increased even more after he saw his goons joining him in the fight.
"Hahaahah, I see, if you guys are here, you all may be useful. Hurry and bind the kid! I want to hit him a few times in front of his dad!"
Gohan was tranquil, he wasn't in a hurry before. He didn't hate the guy, but seeing him squirm around, using every bit of power to match him was funny to him.
Yet, even in this state, he knew that the more he dragged it out, the higher the chances of things going bad. So, he planned to finish it soon.
"You may ask for your daddy's help, Kid," Bujin laughed at him, yet Gohan didn't react, only making them more furious.
The three attacked together with great speed, each from one side, their blows aiming to destroy everything around them.
To Gohan, they looked too slow to even touch him. They were wounded from their previous fight, and their original power wasn't that great to begin with.
The three coordinated well, but soon Gohan saw an opening and attacked. He pushed Kogu's head down and jumped, opening his legs to kick the other two that were coming.
He turned around and elbowed Kogu's head, the impact alone making a crater where he stands. Kogu was out, blood coming out of his head and drenching the ground. Quickly, Gohan turned to Bido and in a flash of movement, he punched his guts.
While he was still processing the damage, he grabbed his head and slammed it down. Not enough; he still lifted his legs and brought them down like a hammer at his back, cracking the ground around him.
When he finished, only one was left standing. At this point, Bojack acted and tried to use this opportunity to hit Gohan with Bujin. The latter tried to use his magic to stop Gohan, only for it to be broken.
So, he chose to go into close combat again. Bojack saw this as an opportunity and focused his Ki on his hands. He threw a sphere at the blind point of both Gohan and Bujin. When he noticed, it was already too late.
"W-wait! Booooss!!!!!"
The sphere exploded, engulfing both of them in a big destructive energy. It would be difficult for one to survive such a thing. Proving that Bujin's body was disintegrated by it.
But amidst the smoke and dust, only Gohan's clothes were affected; he still stood with his Ki now even bigger.
"Hmph, what a waste," Bojack said with a growl. Gohan was unfazed by it.
Without any hesitation, Gohan launched himself at Bojack. His speed and agility were unmatched as he delivered a rapid flurry of punches and kicks, each strike aiming to break his opponent. Bojack countered with his brute strength, deflecting Gohan's attacks with his muscular arms and retaliating with devastating blows of his own.
"Is it ok to let Gohan like that?" Piccolo asked both of them. He found the boy a bit strange with this new power. Maybe he was letting the strength get over his head a bit.
"It should be fine for now… Gohan may look like this, but he is responsible. And if anything happens, I will jump on it," Goku answered him. He was observing the fight very closely, thinking that this might be a good opportunity for Gohan to unleash his potential. Then he will make the choice if he wishes to keep walking this path or let it go and focus on his own dream.
The battle intensified as energy blasts lit up the sky. Gohan channeled his Ki, gathering energy in his hands, and released a mighty Kamehameha wave toward Bojack. The beam roared through the air, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. But Bojack, not one to be easily defeated, formed a powerful energy sphere and hurled it straight at Gohan's attack.
The collision between the two energy blasts created a massive explosion, shaking the earth beneath them.
"Hahahaha, as if I would be defeated by a kid of all things!"
Debris scattered, and the battlefield became a chaotic battleground. Amidst the smoke and rubble, Gohan emerged. He focused his Ki and unleashed a devastating combo of punches and kicks, each strike carrying the weight of his overwhelming power. The force behind his attacks overwhelmed Bojack, leaving him staggered and vulnerable.
"You talk too much," Gohan's eyes were cold, while Bojack couldn't muster any answer. The boy decided that this was enough and would end it already.
With one final surge of energy, Gohan launched a powerful, concentrated blast directly at Bojack, engulfing him in an explosion of light and power. Bojack still tried to defend himself; even at his end, he still believed that he was stronger than Gohan. That he would never lose so easily to a kid, while the other three watched as if they didn't matter.
'W-why! It wasn't from this kid that early energy, so why is he so strong too?!!'
"Damm! Damm! Damm! I'm the one who will conquer this universe, Lord Bojack! To lose like that, I'll never accept-"
Gohan put more strength into his hands, not letting him finish whatever monologue he was going on about. The blast engulfed him completely, taking all the scenery with it. On its path, one could see only destruction and chaos with a big cloud of smoke emerging.
As the smoke cleared, Gohan stood triumphantly, his body brimming with his with SSJ2 energy. Bojack was no more; not a single part of him remained.
They looked at Gohan and nodded their heads, especially Vegeta.
"He is more decisive than you, Kakarrot. And he is training well; he may surpass you if he keeps going like that," Vegeta said.
Goku chuckled and nodded his head; if there is someone that knows about Gohan's potential, then it is him.
They were not worried about Gohan killing these guys, in a fight, killing is to be expected, although there is a small worry on Piccolo's face that Gohan may walk further on this path.
But the worry faded when Gohan ended his transformation, and his usual innocent smile was there; he was still himself.
Ultimately, it was not about killing the opponent but disposing of a threat before it grows. Goku may be more lenient on this, with Piccolo and Vegeta being more direct. Gohan identified Bojack as a threat and disposed of him; there was no need to spare him.
Although there is a certain girl that is shaking now, wondering if they will kill her like the others. Vegeta swiftly went to her, giving his usual hard stare.
Zangya swallowed hard, and sweat ran down her face. With small steps, she tried to retreat, but her body was locked in place.
"Now what to do with you…You made the right choice in not joining the fight, yet made the wrong choice to come to this planet," Vegeta said, gritting his teeth. Zangya waited for judgment, knowing that there was nothing she could say to defend herself from his decision.
