Chapter 8: Kiss?
"Augh..."
Liang Wei slowly opened his eyes, feeling disoriented. As he looked around the room, he realized that he was in the school infirmary.
He wondered how he had gotten there since he was completely fine after the fight.
In an instant, Liang Wei's attention was captured by a series of notifications that appeared before him from the system.

He had never experienced anything like it before, and it was both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
Suddenly, a voice broke him out of his thoughts.
"So, you're awake."
Liang Wei turned to see Teacher Li walking into the room.
Her face was completely expressionless, unlike the bright smile she had given him that morning.
She walked towards the chair beside his bed and sat down, her movements smooth and graceful.
Her slender figure looked even more striking as she crossed her long legs, revealing a hint of skin beneath her skirt.
She folded her delicate hands in her lap, and Liang Wei couldn't help but notice the elegant way her fingers intertwined.
Her expression remained unreadable as she silently examined him, her gaze sweeping over his body with clinical detachment.
Liang Wei felt a shiver run down his spine as her cool scrutiny lingered on his wounds and bruises.
Finally, she spoke, her voice low and measured.
"I heard the full details from Zhang Mei," she said.
"I hope this won't happen again."
Liang Wei felt a pang of guilt at her words.
"I'm sorry, Teacher Li," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I won't do it again."
Teacher Li nodded, her eyes still fixed on his face.
Suddenly, she raised her hands and gently caressed his cheeks.
"If something like this ever happens again, you can come to me for help," she said, her voice softening slightly.
"I'll be here for you."
Liang Wei's heart skipped a beat at her touch, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth spread through his body.
"Th-thank you, Teacher Li," he stammered.
Teacher Li smiled at him, her fingers still lightly tracing his chubby cheeks.
"Rest now," she said, her voice a soothing murmur.
With that, she rose from her seat and left the infirmary, leaving Liang Wei feeling confused.

'Two birds with one stone.'
As he lay back down on the bed, he couldn't help but think about the way her hands had felt on his face and the way her body had looked as she sat beside him.
"Liang Wei?"
Liang Wei's eyes were drawn to the sound of a pleasant voice and he looked up to see Zhang Mei standing at the door.
She walked up to him and sat down on the bed beside him, her eyes filled with concern.
"How are you feeling?" she asked, reaching out to gently touch his arm.
Liang Wei caught a whiff of a subtle, sweet scent emanating from Zhang Mei's body, and he wondered if it was from her perfume or body wash.
"I'm fine, Zhang Mei," he said, trying to sound casual as he scratched his head.
"There's no need for you to worry about me."
Zhang Mei's eyes teared up slightly as he spoke, and Liang Wei suddenly felt a surge of concern for her.
"I'm sorry," Zhang Mei sobbed, her voice choked with emotion.
"You only got into that fight because of me."
Liang Wei tried to comfort Zhang Mei, feeling a little awkward at her tears.
"Hey, don't cry," he said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"If you feel guilty about what happened, you can make it up to me later."
Zhang Mei sniffled and looked up at him with her big, teary eyes.
"How?" she asked, her voice still shaky.
Liang Wei's eyes couldn't help but wander as he looked at Zhang Mei.
Her face was flushed from her tears, her cheeks pink and dewy.
Her uniform blouse was stretched taut across her ample chest, accentuating her curves.
As she leaned in close to him, Liang Wei couldn't help but notice the sweet fragrance of her hair, which was brushing against his cheek.
It was as if the rest of the world had fallen away, and it was just the two of them in that small room.
Despite her tear-stained face, Zhang Mei looked more beautiful than ever to Liang Wei, and he found himself mesmerized by her.
Liang Wei's heart raced as he gathered his courage and asked Zhang Mei.
"Um... How about a Kiss?"
Zhang Mei's face turned red as a ripe tomato as she looked at Liang Wei with a mixture of surprise.
"Eh? W-what? Wait- I-I just remembered something important. I'll see you later," stammered Zhang Mei, her face turning bright red as she hastily got up from the bed and made a beeline for the door, her footsteps quick and hurried.
Liang Wei observed as Zhang Mei hastily left the infirmary.
He let out a sigh, realizing that he might have acted too hastily.
"There goes my SP," he murmured to himself.
Feeling a little embarrassed, Liang Wei decided to lay back down and rest.
As he closed his eyes, he couldn't help but think about Zhang Mei's reaction.
"Maybe it was too soon to ask for a kiss," he thought.
He made a mental note to be more patient and to take things slower.
After all, he didn't want to scare off Zhang Mei, especially since he had just gained some favorability points with her.
