Chapter 8: Reality of Eternal Rain
Henry saw that it was raining heavily and in a state of confusion he calls his neighbour whose name was Larit because he was thinking it was summer. But he realised that he will not reply because everyday his name changes. As he was thinking that Larit will not reply, Larit replied from his window ," What happened Henry ?"
And this reply surprised Henry.
Henry asked Larit from his window why it was raining. Larit replied that it always Rains here may be you are shifted from some other world.
Henry confirmed that he was transported from a different world. Bewildered Larit asked him to come out of the house and he was shocked to see that he was not his Henry.
Larit leaned out of his window, raindrops clinging to his puzzled expression. "New Henry, welcome to the Eternal Rain reality," he said, gesturing to the perpetually gray sky. "It's been like this for as long as I can remember."
Henry, bewildered, stepped outside and felt the constant drizzle. "But how did I get here?" he questioned, raindrops mixing with the perplexity on his face.
Larit explained, "There are mysterious portals that open up unexpectedly, transporting people to this eternal downpour. No one knows why it happens or how to go back."
As they strolled through the rain-soaked streets, Larit shared stories of others who had arrived in the same bewildered state. Henry, realizing the gravity of his situation, decided to adapt. Larit introduced him to the community's unique way of life, where umbrellas were more essential than anything else.
Days turned into weeks, and Henry, with his neighbor Larit, discovered the beauty in the constant rain—the soothing sound, the lush greenery, and the camaraderie that flourished under the perpetual clouds. Eventually, Henry embraced this unexpected reality, finding joy in the eternal raindrops that had become a constant companion.
And so, in this new world of perpetual rain, Henry's confusion transformed into acceptance, and the once-surprising reply from Larit became the beginning of an unexpected adventure in the Eternal Rain reality.
One day Larit and Henry were playing chess at Larit's house and discussing how to escape from this Reality of Eternal Rain. They would play chess moves one by one and then stop and discuss. While doing this, it seemed as if Henry understood something in the stories that Larit told about different people who were trapped like Henry. Henry probably found a way to avoid coming to the new reality again and again. Perhaps there was some secret in the mysterious portals of this reality itself.Now both of them had come to the end of the game. Now Henry's king was about to be checkmated when suddenly a mysterious portal opened on our chessboard and it started pulling Henry towards itself in a very strange manner. As if it was open only for Henry and Larit, seeing that Henry was being pulled, tried to stop him. But Henry's luck was very bad, he could not stop even after Larit tried to stop him and the portal pulled him inside. After this, Larit, which was being pulled, also went half way inside but something strange happened to us, it threw Larit out of the portal and closed.
