Chapter 128: Kaina and Bullet

He snorted smoke from his nose with pride as Kaina sat down smiling gently at him, laughing softly. Bullet waved his arms, saying in shock "Either is or really commit a crime and come to jail for real!" Kaina froze and laughed, Meatball Ancestor's lips twitched.
Bullet slapped his forehead and said "You don't know! Bullet bring some things." He took out pictures and things he got over time, showing Kaina, smiling "This Aizawa, you like? Give number later! Kaina watched him with a sweet smile as he pointed at the picture of him and Mei, smiling happily "This girlfriend! She crazy too! Say if Bullet has concubine, blow up planet! Bang! Like this!" Kaina looked at the picture and laughed, saying "She's very pretty."

He showed various different pictures and items, smiling happily "Really miss mom! Not know for long time but feel very warm when see you, very happy. Hope soon you come out… or Bullet come visit again." then he sighed, "But Bullet don't know, how many letter need send? 100? 1000? 400000? So crazy, send letters until dead!"
Kaina smiled gently and asked softly "Are you doing okay?" Bullet paused and smiled sweetly, "Mhm. People don't really like Bullet, think freak because no Quirk… But. Bullet lots of friends… Even fans, number 1 fan have number in phone…"
He looked troubled and Kaina said softly, "What's wrong, tell mommy." Bullet hesitated and explained "Have friend… Like sister, really. But… Become Villain… Bullet don't know what do? Don't want to kill but how save? Bullet try, she ran back to Villain group, say born villain no change. Very distressed."
Kaina pursed her lips, saying "Sounds complicated… Tell you story. Long time ago, girl want to be hero real bad." Bullet nodded and Kaina smiled gently, "Man come say you can be hero, I train you. Bullet nodded and tilted his head, Kaina looked at him gently, "Lady follow orders and do jobs, kill Villains, kill fake Heroes, all targets dead. All marks finished. One day, lady see kids ask for handshake, no shake hands see hands all bloody, hallucinate. Feel dirty, shower 100 times, still no come off." She smiled and looked at him, "One day, boy come, say real hero, see bloody hands, still hold. Lady very shocked, go back do one more job, want to end job. Hero? Bullet was shocked and Kaina curled her lips, "Lady smile and give reason to be villain, kill Man. Then look at hands, all clean for first time in long time." Bullet nodded, "Good! Bastard guy! Better dead! This kind of guy, sheesh! Bullet kill too! Tell you something, so ungrateful, live in underground world, died Bullet don't know how many times! Use girl for job then when tired say oh no you villain you quit hur hur, me so smart!"
He snorted angrily, waving his hand, "This like Re-Destro! Stupid guy! Leader of big Lunatic cult! Say oho! Me big smart guy own company! When world change all freedom me king! Don't know that freedom no king! Idiot!" Kaina laughed at his puffed up cheeks, smiling "Did you understand, baby?"
Bullet snorted "A little, Mom say that Bullet live how want to live. Do what makes happy. No regrets. Right?" Kaina's eyes lit up and she nodded, "You're so smart! Not going to school for nothin'!" Bullet snorted with pride, saying "Heh! Mom don't know! Bullet figure out math, so easy! Guy make have finger grow Quirk, so simple! Heh…"
Kaina burst out laughing and smiled sweetly, "That's great. Just smile for mommy, okay? Don't stop smiling." Bullet smiled and gave her a thumbs up, replying "Bullet never stop smiling."
The Intercom sounded, "5 minutes are up." Bullet sighed and picked up his stuff, smiling at Kaina as he said softly "Mom don't know, Bullet never stop smiling even if don't say it." Kaina looked at him silently, a smile in her eyes as Bullet straightened out, smiling kindly, "Bullet gonna be a hero that bring smile to everyone."
His eyes brimmed with confidence as he cracked his neck, smiling "The people who forgot how to smile, will smile again. I want to be the Hero who inspires other to be a hero, if I can do why can't anyone else? So of course, I'll never stop smiling." he grinned, "Even if I die, I'll die standing with a big smile on my face!"
Kaina was stunned and looked at him with a soft smile on her face, pride in her eyes.
Bullet pressed on the glass as guards walked in, he smiled gently and said "Bye, Mom… Bullet don't know when come see again." Kaina pressed her hand on his, smiling gently, "It doesn't matter, I'm proud of you. You're all grown up now."
Bullet pressed his lips together and teared up, smiling happily, "T-Thank you!" Kaina touched the glass and sighed sadly, she couldn't even wipe the tears from his eyes… Bullet wiped them and turned around, "Miss you." before walking out of the room as Kaina sighed, turning back and going back to her cell.
