Chapter 3: ***Chapter 17***

D-Day finally arrived. Onyinye woke up earlier than usual. Her face was red with excitement. "It's finally here," she screamed, waking Eve up. It was obvious she was extremely excited.

She had packed her go-bag the night before. In it were; her training gear, her bow, seven carbon arrows, a bottle of distilled water, and some proteinous snacks. Eve had assisted her too with things like; oiling her bow and cleaning dust residues from her carbon arrows.

That morning she ran to Chima's room, opened the door without permission, and screamed till he woke up, just as she had done with Eve.

When she calmed down a little they began to prepare in earnest to leave for the center. They had no reason to go late yuuno.

She slung her go-bag along her shoulders. She was sure that she wasn't missing anything. Eve dressed up and followed Onyinye wherever she went.
