Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - Throne Room In The Temple
As the zombie rounds the corner, Skalain feels a surge of confidence.
He orders his skeletons to attack, and they quickly move into action. One of the skeletons lunges forward and grapples with the zombie, while the other two move in to attack.
Skalain watches in awe as his skeletons work together in perfect unison, using their bony arms to crush the zombie's head.
"Zombie X1: Killed (10 XP)"
Skalain feels a rush of excitement and pride as he watches his skeletons in action.
"Every time I kill something, that mechanical voice tells me that I gain XP."
"XP must be standing for experience and it may be the one thing that increase my power if It is what I believe"
Skalain thought that whatever he encountered in the system, being a necromancer, the zombies and mechanical voice, as well as "XP," were all in line with an RPG game. The more he kills, the more XP he will be gaining, and that will turn into more power.
As the battle ends, Skalain takes a moment to reflect on his feelings. He feels a sense of awe and wonder at the power of magic and a deep sense of gratitude towards his skeletons for their help.
He also feels a sense of determination, knowing that he has the strength and knowledge to survive in this new and unfamiliar world. He knows that there will be more challenges and battles to come, but he feels ready to face them with courage and determination.
Skalain takes a deep breath and continues down the hallway, his skeletons following closely behind him. He knows that there is still much to discover and explore in this mysterious temple.
"I still feel scared."
Skalain tells himself
"But, I dont know why but I also feel excited about the probabilities."
Skalain feels scared and great at the same time. He believes that these kinds of things only happen to important people.
He never thought himself to be a necromancer, but everything feels in line with what he always wanted to do.
As Skalain and his skeletons continue down the hallway, they suddenly come upon a large set of double doors. The doors are intricately carved with images of dragons and demons, and they seem to radiate a powerful aura of magic.
"This-"
Skalain could not help but impressed. All the things he saw in this life and his life on Earth could not compared to these doors at all.
"Let's get in..."
Skalain knew that he was a fool when it came to approaching these kinds of things. But in the end, he also knows that there is no other choice anyway.
Skalain approaches the doors cautiously, his heart beating with excitement and anticipation.
He pushes the doors open and steps into the throne room, his skeletons following closely behind him.
The room is breathtakingly grand, with high ceilings that stretch up into the darkness above.
The walls are adorned with tapestries and paintings depicting scenes of battles and conquests. The floor is made of polished stone, and in the center of the room stands a grand throne made of black marble and studded with gems.
