Chapter 5: Married by law
"Okay. now that we introduced and welcome our new of Wilson's to the family.
we should let the couples have a time to talk, and what about fixing a date for them?." Mr Wilson said smiling.
"No, I'm not gonna have an exchange ring marriage party with someone I don't know yet, I suggest we should leave that for now." Richard said coldly as he hated the idea of doing the marriage party with the girl he's seeing right now whom was chose to be his wife to be.
"Okay, but why did you have to tell the reporters at the airports about your marriage when you're not gonna do that talk less of inviting." Mr Wilson said angrily.
"Father, I just said so to keep them shut and besides one day it's gonna be out that I'm married, so it can't be hidden for forever, I just want this to remain like this for now." Richard said convincingly.
"Okay. if that's what you think, why don't you guys excuses us here, while you guys talk." Mr Wilson said.
Richard scoffed before nodding his head in agreement.
Richard stood on his feet and walked out of the large sitting room to the balcony while Ella followed behinds.
They reached the balcony standing in front of each other.
Richard kept staring coldly at the girl in front of him playing with her nails.
"Are you not gonna say anything?." Richard said coldly.
Ella looked up at his face as she looked him and smirked.
"Did you just smirked.?" Richard asked as he looked coldly at the girl.
"Well, I'm Annabella Howard and yes you're Richard Wilson." Annabella said boldly staring at him now.
"Well I guess we don't have anything to talk about here, I'll just tell you to behave yourself and don't think you can have any authority of being a wife in my home, so beware." Richard said rudely as his hands was tucked in his pocket.
"I'm not surprised of how rude you are as you were just the spoilt brat that splashed the dirt water on me that day, why didn't I even remember earlier." Ella said back rudely as she rolled her eyes annoyingly.
"Oh so you were the crazy lady, gosh why do you have to be the girl dad chose for me, damn I hate commoners." Richard said rudely and disgustingly.
"Well I hate spoilt brat too, I can't stand them, be thankful Mr Wilson who chose me for you because you're so disgusting and ugly for my likings, gosh is this the ugly face Mr Wilson chose for a pretty girl like me." Ella said as she smirked and rolled her pretty eyes annoyingly.
Richard face changed to hurts as he looked at the girl who just said he's ugly for her likings when plenty of ladies and women out there are praying for this opportunity, like this was the first time he heard someone telling him having ugly face.
"That's a fucking lie, you probably already fell for my handsome face and decided to compliment me indirectly using ugly, you know what?, I don't like ugly girls like you and you're not my taste to be my wife." Richard said angrily.
Ella chucked and said: "100% of men wanna die to have me idiot, I'm pretty with gods damn sexy body, you can't tell me what or how i look like as I knew what I looked like already, and yeah I came from the poor background but you know what?, I'm happy for not being a spoilt brat like you." Ella said as she walked out on him to meet the family in the sitting room.
RICHARD
"What!!!, did she just walked out on me." I thought angrily as I was surprised to see a girl acted like this to me ever, for the first time.
She's different amongst all, she should be happy and respect me. Just standing with me, and talk less of her gonna be my wife is a good thing for most girls. I thought as I walked back to the sitting room.
I stood at the back of the couch dad was sitting backing me, while I kept on looking at the girl who was now smiling, looking calm and gentle like nothing had happened.
"Richard why are you standing, come here." Father said smiling.
"No father. I should get going now, I have some stuffs to take care of." I said.
"You can't go now, I called lawyer smith that you both are coming to sign for marriage, meaning you're getting married today with her." Dad said.
"Why today dad?." I said almost in anger.
"Because she will be moving in to your house tomorrow." Dad said again.
"As you wish." I said rudely.
"So my dear Bella, go with him while you can go home after, and rest for tomorrow." Dad said to the so called wife.
I walked out of the house not waiting for her as I hopped in the car, waiting for her.
The door to the back sit was opened for while she hopped in sitting next to me.
I adjusted myself not wanting any closeness with her at all.
"Don't move closer before I get contacted." I said rudely but she never said anything or replied to what I said.
"Wow she's giving me a silent treatment, pretending to be calm again." I thought as I stole a glance at her.
After some minutes of driving, the car came to halted.
"Here sir." The driver said while he rushed down to opened the door.
I stepped out of the car, while Ella or what's the bitch name came out before me.
We walked into the hall and to the lawyer office, meeting the lawyer in his office while he greeted as we shook hand.
"Please be seated." He said gesturing i and my so called wife to be to sit down. haha so ridiculous.
"It's nice to have you here Mr Richard and welcome Miss." The lawyer said smiling.
"Can you please make this snappy, I have some important stuffs to take care of." I said rudely.
"Okay, please sign this while you exchange the rings." He said smiling.
"What rings are you talking about?." I asked.
"Mr Wilson bought this for you and your wife to exchange it after your signature.
"Damn, this old man is really taking this too serious." I muttered silently.
"Okay continue." I said to the lawyer.
"Okay this is an agreement papers that stated a promise of being a husband to Miss Annabella Howard and…" you don't need to explain just give me the paper and let's sign them." I said cutting him shut before he could finished the trash he's uttering out of his mouth.
"Okay sir." He said calmly as he stretched the papers out to me.
I collected the the papers and signed them then gave Ella to signed too.
After the signature, the lawyer gave us a beautiful diamonds rings to exchange while we did, then he also signed the papers as the third person and a witness for us being married and live together as husband and wife.
After we were done, I stood up walking out while she followed, you know who I am talking about right? I mean my so called wife, haha I can't believe I am married today to a girl I don't love. I thought as we walked out.
"I'll take a taxi home." She said not looking at me while I nodded and hopped in the car that's already opened for me not acting like I care, after all she chose to take taxi home and not even like I care, in fact am glad she said that before I could her tell to do that.
POV"
Ella boarded a taxi while she was drove home.
Ella got home while she walked into the house who met her mum and Kate in the sitting room.
ELLA
"Hi mum." I said as I walked to the sitting room.
I took my sit as I slumped on chair tiredly.
"How's it?." Mum and Kate asked.
"It was fine and we exchanged the rings today, I'm married to Wilson by law today." I said softly.
"What?." Mum exclaimed.
"Relax mum, just for now that's what Richard said." I said as I explained.
"Okay I just want you to be happy that's all." Mum said.
"I'm happy mum, trust me." I said smiling.
"Please thank Mr Wilson for me, he sent a man to me today, when you were gone telling me I'll be doing surgery next week." Mum said smiling weakly.
"Okay I will for sure." I said just then my phone rang so I picked it up.
"Oh okay thank you sir." That's all I said and hung up.
"Mr Wilson just called telling me, mum will be moving out tomorrow as well, so there's a chance for me to help her packing with her stuffs before sending a driver to pick me up to Richard's mansion." I said as I explained to mum and Kate.
"Okay." Mum said sadly, I know she's not happy while I smiled and walked to her.
"It's fine mum, it's so sure I'll get married and leave you like this one day. And it happened today, even though it's not mine or your dream to see me married without marriage in church as how normal marriage should be like, but I'm assuring you that it will happen just as we wishes soon, just let's give it sometimes as this is my faith and destiny and I'm ready to embarrass it and accept it." I said smiling to mum, while she hugged me crying.
"Come on mum, be strong okay?." I said while she nodded her head wiping her tears.
"And thank you Kate for everything, you'll always be my best and of course nothing is gonna change even though I'm married today, we'll still be like we have always used to be." I said as I walked to Kate hugging her.
"It's okay and of course I'll always come to check on you dear bestie." She said smiling while we laughed together comforting ourselves.
"So have you guys eaten?." I asked.
"Yes we did and of course we knew you've eaten so we didn't bother to cook your food." Mum said smiling.
"Yeah I'm fine, oh my gosh it's late already." I said as I checked the time on my phone.
"We need to go to bed now, you know tomorrow is gonna be a long day and tiring." I said as I stood up, while mum and Kate nodded to agreement, then we went to our various room.
RICHARD
"Straight to my mansion." I said to my driver while working through my phone then Father call came in.
"📞Yes Father ." I said as I picked up his call.
"📞did you dropped her off at her house?." Dad asked on the other side of the phone.
"No Dad, she said she'll take the taxi." I replied getting pissed off.
"📞why would you agreed to let her take the taxi by all herself, she probably said that because of your cold attitude." Dad said angrily on the phone.
"Dad I'm busy attending to something so important, I'll talk to you later. Bye." I said as I hung up the call.
The car came to a halt. I stepped down and walked into my house ignoring the maids greetings as usual, while I strode upstairs to my room.
