"Are you nervous?" Sebastian asked Elliana as they sat in the car, and the latter gave him a soft smile that barely reached her eyes.

"Of course, not," she whispered before looking out of the window again.

Sebastian didn't say anything further and sat in silence, looking at the latest news about what other vampire Dukes and Kingdoms were doing.

It has been three days since the annual ball and he finally got the time to take the Princess to her home.
