The necromancer stopped moving. However, the horde of undead did not let up on their offensive. Instead, the number of undead monsters kept on increasing even when the caster was defeated.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Gladius said as he punched the rushing skeletons.
"The necromancer ... is most likely still alive," said Trish as she smashed the skull of another undead.
"Impossible! Didn't you see that I've already defeated it?"
"Yes. But that monster is probably not the necromancer," she replied. "The real one must have been hiding somewhere,"
"Are you kidding me? So you're telling me that we need to find a single monster within this horde of skeletons!?"
"Yes. And fast. The longer we take, the more their numbers will increase," she reminded him.
"Ahh! For the love of, someone! Go get me an axe or a club, something that I can use. We're gonna plow through!"
"'Plow through'? Wait, you don't mean you are going to make your way toward that many monsters!?"
Hi Hi!
Author here!
I have to say, the mornings this time of the year are sooooo cold that I always find myself on the verge of having a cold.
Still, I have to make sure that chapters are updated as soon as possible, so here is another one.
See you on the next chapter!
