Chapter 80: Trail Blazers

What was it like, living in the dark? Is it terrifying? Calming? Or something like a mix between the two? 

There, within the deepest depth of a certain factory, a lone woman can be seen speaking before what appears to be a statue of some sort. 

The room was dark, devoid of any sources of light. However, the woman was able to find her way inside as if she knew the place by heart. She caressed the statue with such gentleness that the act is akin to a mother touching her child's soft cheeks. 

She felt every detail of the statue. From its head, up to the pair of horns on its head, all the way to the wings on its back. 

Fear not, for you won't be alone anymore.  Light and darkness would be a stranger to you. Now, rise, once again, for you are free. 

As she said those words,  cracks started to form on the surface of the statue. The woman, pleased with her work, left the statue to its bidding.
