Chapter 83: Tried, Tumbled, then Fell

"What was that!?"

Trish said as she felt the ground reverberate beneath her feet. It has been almost an hour since Gladius and the other assessors went down the newly-discovered passage to investigate. 

"It came from below!" said another, anxious as to what could have caused the tremors. They are thinking about whether to go and check on the others or whether should they report this to the other leaders. As the de facto leader in Gladius's absence, Trish was contemplating the proper thing to do. 

What would Gladius do?

She isn't suited to this role. In fact, she became a battle priest, instead of a normal priest because she cant keep herself to rational decision-making. In battle, all she has to think of are the enemies in front of her. 

She has been an assessor for more than two years to this date, but never did she need to make weighty decisions on behalf of others. 

This is why I hate being a leader!
