Chapter 2: Who are you?
Li Jie screamed as soon as he entered the room.
"Who are you?"
*Silence*
He clenched his teeth lines forming on his forehead. Several possibilities ran through his mind but none of them made sense. 'Did he lose his sanity after traveling to a parallel universe?'
"Host, what are you talking about? You are totally in the best health to play the side villain." The voice rang again but this time it didn't stop just after a
sentence. [I am the villain system 420 and you are bounded by me. I am the reason you are alive in this new world.]
Li Jie's ear perked up at the information. Finally, he could converse with this strange voice in his mind. "What do you want from me?"
The youth knew nothing came for free. Though he looked like he shamelessly occupied someone else's body he was well aware. Someday he had to pay back.
[Ah, right? Now that you have reminded me...Host...you HAVE A MISSION TO COMPLETE?] The voice suddenly screamed breaking his eardrums.
Even though Li Jie didn't know what kind of mission it was he was ready to complete it. In past, he had participated in various missions, and alliances against the heroes but none of them worked. In the end, he still made friends who had similar goals to his.
[Host!] Li Jie focused on the voice and got serious. [Your mission is to be alive until the end of the story. You can't. The readers want to see your character suffer till the end.]
'What?' Li Jie froze as his brain was unable to translate what to with the data he gained just now. The atmosphere in the room slowly started to turn dark, followed by a helpless laugh.
"Okay, I will do it. You want a punching bag for your protagonist I will be it." Li Jie's thoughts were unreadable to the system. It couldn't help but shudder.
[Villains are a completely different species. Keep up the scary atmosphere host! You will be a great villain.] The clueless system 420 tried cheering his host.
After a while, it went on rambling about the further storyline with Li Jie listening to it intently making notes on a notepad.
"So, I have to bully our weak protagonist till this damsel in distress gets saved. Tch." Li Jie read from notes frowning. But one thing was clear. No matter how hard Li Feng tried he could never send him abroad due to the plot. His eyes glowed in the dark.
He got ready afterward since he found a goal today in this world, being coped up in the house didn't seem okay anymore. Li Jie went down where the butler Ryan informed him of his parent's absence.
"Where did they go?"
"I am not informed about their locations but they are going to be late. Young master can have dinner before them." Ryan explained in a calm tone. As if he didn't see Li Jie dressed up.
"No need, I am going out." Li Jie shrugged Ryan off afterward ignoring his wwheres'sandwwhats. He directly took a taxi which was a lot harder to find than he thought.

Li Jie got off near what was then called the entertainment area of City A. Compared to what he was used to it was a lot tamer. He entered one of the bars using the novel information.
[You are not supposed to be here right now. The club is further in the plot.] The system interrupted the silvered-haired youth who was ready to bribe the bouncers outside the bar. [*Cough* And no need to bribe the age limit is 18. You are 18.]
"Huh." Li Jie paused for a moment before putting the bribe back and taking out his ID. After going back he needed to learn one or two things about the original owner. The muscular bouncer looked at the ID twice as if not knowing if the kid in front of him was 18 or not. But he let Li Jie in since they were short of handsome guys at the moment.
Li Jie sat in front of the bartender ordering drinks one by one. Some people were surprised to see his drinking capacity but others didn't care, they had different motives.
Several guys tried approaching him offering him free drinks but were rejected mercilessly. Li Jie kept drinking not caring about the offended expression of a few men.
"Hey, how many are you going to reject?" A guy sitting next to Li Jie couldn't endure it anymore. He was wearing a baggy shirt and looked in his early 20s. There were traces of makeup and glitter near his eyes. "Lower your standard a little."
"I never told them to approach me." Li Jie said in a cold tone. Free drinks weren't new to him, but he wasn't in the mood today.
"Huh?" The other guy looked at the youth dumbfounded as it finally drew on him. The youth didn't do anything except gulp down drinks since he came here. But his face just sitting there could attract all sorts of flies. The guy smiled as if he discovered something. "Did the club hire you?"
Li Jie couldn't understand how the other person's circuit worked. "No, please leave me alone."
"Why? Do you know what kind of stares I am enduring just sitting beside you? People must be calling me beast right now." The guy complained but Li Jie couldn't see any uncomfortableness in his eye. Either this guy was narcissistic or going to murder him tonight. "By the way, my name is Bai Ye."
Li Jie didn't look at the guy anymore, as if trying to ignore him.
"Hey, that's my real name. You could at least act surprised."
Bai Ye whined. "Do you know how many people want to know my real name?"
"I don't." Finally, Li Jie was starting to feel the effect of the drinks. But Bai Ye's constant chattering was making him feel headache and nausea.
"Huh? Hey kid, are you fine?" Bai Ye tried extending his hand to help Li Jie remove his coat after seeing him sweating. But his hand was slapped back. He didn't seem embarrassed by it but his chattering stopped completely shortly afterward. Never mind it didn't.
He ordered a glass of water and offered it to Li Jie. "Drinking like that you want to overwork your liver?.... Hey kid, are you in some trouble." Li Jie drank the water not saying anything. It was the first drink he probably accepted today.
Not hearing any response Bai Ye sighed. "Is it school bullying? Did you fail your test? Fell for a guy the first time? Can't handle you are gay? Did you have any problems with your parents?" He listed down a few options for Li Jie to choose from but the youth didn't hint anything. Cause there was no option for 'Did you travel from a parallel universe and are plotting the protagonist's doom right now?'
Bai Ye didn't know what the youth had in mind. Both of them sat there in silence. But the silence wasn't everlasting it was disturbed by the surrounding noise. Bai Ye heard the commotion in the club. It looked like another handsome guy entered the club. But unlike before he didn't get up from his seat, he just turned his seat. And sat there drinking his mildly alcoholic cocktail in his hand as if waiting for a big reveal.
