Chapter 126: Chapter 126: A Good Boss

"Backbone?"

Fred scratched his head, somewhat confused about the meaning of this strange name.

But since Arthur had already chosen Backbone, they would go with it.

Cho was also curious about seeing the effectiveness of Backbone and the glasses the twins called "Sleepy Glasses" worked.

Fred considerately handed two brand new sets to Cho.

"This set is for you, and the other one is for Arthur."

After experiencing the effects, Cho was delighted, "I think everyone needs these two items for History of Magic class. The class with Professor Binns is just awful."

History of Magic might be called the most boring class at Hogwarts.

And Professor Binns, who is responsible for teaching the class, is the only ghost teacher in the school.

The legend says that he sat down to rest in his office one day and died there, but Professor Binns never realized this.

He left his body in the office room, and then he turned into a ghost to teach the students.

Arthur was curious whether the school ever paid Professor Binns a salary. If not, he would truly be an old capitalist.

His classes were very boring, and when combined with the ghost's monotonic voice, many young wizards fell asleep in them.

When Arthur heard what Cho said, he nodded in agreement.

He always found himself yawning a lot in Professor Binns' class, but he didn't want to fall asleep right on the desk.

He had to endure it.

"How much do you plan to sell them for?"

Arthur asked the twins about the price.

Speaking of this, the twins are a bit tangled. Although they have some talent in this, their business experience was still limited.

"Our price is five Sickles, and we're thinking of selling them for ten Sickles. What do you think, Arthur?"

Arthur shook his head when he heard their prices.

These two were still too young.

"You're not doing it right. Don't just calculate the material cost. Isn't your time valuable? Isn't your expertise valuable?"

Arthur said.

"In my opinion, sell it for one Galleon."

Arthur had the final say.

The twins were dumbfounded, and George stuttered, "But, would young wizards buy it for one Galleon? You know, with one Galleon, they can buy a lot of snacks and candies."

Arthur seriously advised them, "Think about it. Young wizards feel sleepy in class but are afraid to sleep, and they are afraid of being discovered by the professor when they fall asleep. Is it expensive to spend one Galleon to buy peace of mind?"

The twins and Cho shook their heads in agreement.

"Not expensive!"

"That settles it, then. And you to make some changes to this vest and make it better, and then we can call it a collector's edition, selling it for three Galleons. I believe those little snakes in Slytherin will pay for this."

Arthur continued, passionately giving his business ideas.

"Oh, and make the runes carving on the clothes slightly shallow, so that these young wizards can have a new one every semester."

"..."

Listening to Arthur's suggestions, everyone's moods seemed to be refreshed, and look in disbelief.

They didn't know there were so many ways to make a sale.

Finally, after almost ten minutes of talking, Arthur stopped, feeling a bit thirsty.

With a wave of his wand, he summoned a pot of tea and sat down to drink, giving the twins some time to digest the information.

Cho sat across from Arthur, looking curious.

"Where did you learn all this? How to do business with so many strategies?"

"The sales techniques in the Muggle world are much more better than mine," Arthur said, with an expression that said, "You still have much to learn."

If he brought the techniques in the previous world to the magical world, he would be an eye-opener for this group of 'honest' wizards.

George and Fred snapped out of their daze and looked at Arthur with admiration.

They had already come to see Arthur as their idol. If Arthur told them that wearing women's clothing would make money, they would believe it.

After solving the final price problem, half of it is completed, and the rest is to see how George and Fred operate.

However, Arthur didn't care about all this.

He was only doing it out of his own interest and never thought about making much Galleons from these little gadgets.

As someone who had control over most of Knockturn Alley, Galleons had little meaning to him.

In this world, there were many things Galleons could buy, but there were also many things they couldn't.

For the next period, Fred and George were too busy to see anyone and even the weekly training class did not attend for two weeks in a row.

"I saw them last time during the last meeting,"

Ron said during the weekend's study group, a piece of pointless information that showed how hot the twins' business had become.

Arthur heard from Fred that they had also brought Lee Jordan on board to handle some simple tasks.

Their current orders had piled up to one hundred pieces, and even with just the two of them, they calculated it would take them the whole next month to complete.

That's why they brought in Lee Jordan as a laborer, with the only bonus limited edition outfits.

"Especially those who are in Slytherin. Well, Arthur, you could say that they're just easy targets. Almost all of them bring their own clothes and different fancy glasses for me and George to change."

Fred gleefully remarked.

They even introduced a more expensive customized service, where customers bring their own materials, costing ten Galleons for one processing.

They were both in pain and joy now.

Arthur fell silent.

He didn't expect the twins to be better, They even had the customizing trick, and poor Lee Jordan was miserable to be easily persuaded.

Looking at Fred, who had just reported to him and went back to the dormitory to work, Arthur worried that the two of them might collapse from exhaustion.

Fred's large dark circles from earlier had startled Arthur.

After some thought, he decided to find a chance to have Harry bring them a few bottles of Invigoration Draught for the two.

Yes, Arthur was indeed a good boss.
