Chapter 55: Chapter Fifty Six_ Spend The Night With Me.

Sonia's POV

Ever since Sam confessed his true feelings to me, our relationship became utterly awkward. Though he tries to act as though we're still good, it's certainly not working for me. I tried as much as I could to avoid him. I eat in restaurants and only come back to sleep, and I make sure to leave very early the next morning.

For two days now, we haven't seen nor spoken to each other. To the extent that he had to call me to his office during working hours, but I gave him a cold shoulder until he almost lost it.

My sobriety prayer is for my pay date to draw closer, so I can find an apartment already. In fact, I'm online during my leisure time searching for an affordable apartment to rent.

Though today is Saturday, I didn't mind that fact, I ran to the office to avoid seeing Sam. I had to do some cleaning last night when he was deep asleep to avoid doing that this morning.
