Chapter 148: Enuma Elish
"Come at me, Issei Hyoudou." Sirzechs muttered. Issei disappeared from everyone's sight silently and reappeared in front of him in a blur.
*BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!*
Sirzechs stood his ground as he took a punch that obliterated the ground behind him. Issei narrowed his eyes as he fist wasn't on his skin at all, rather the aura of destruction protecting him.
Issei kept attacking while Sirzechs took them all like a champ. Issei growled as he stood back and revaluated his battle plan.
"My turn...." Sirzechs muttered and appeared in front of Issei. He started fighting him with his fists. Issei dodged them all swiftly.
He summoned two one handed swords made out of the Light Power he gained. He fought back, striking Sirzechs with rapid slashes.
Sirzechs actually needed to dodge those. The Light Swords could actually cut through the aura and injure him severely.
Issei released this wouldn't work as well so he opted for another attack. He made the swords disappear into particles of light and jumped back.
Sirzechs pointed at him and charged up a crimson colored softball sized orb. He fired it at him, the ball actually created a giant beam that erased anything in its wake.
Issei held out his hands and charged up a new attack. An orb appeared on his hands. It was bright golden with a crimson tint to it.
"Boost!!!"
It was an attack filled with harmonized Light Power and Demonic Power. The attack charged up, now all that's left to it was a name.
"HAKAI!!!"
*FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!*
Issei fired a beam that completely obliterated Sirzechs' attack. Sirzechs didn't even have time to react as he was then completely engulfed by the golden black beam.
The attack lasted for a while before it ended. Issei started at the massive long crater his attack created. But his main focus was on where Sirzechs was.
The smoke cleared, revealing Sirzechs to be bleeding from his forehead and arm. Issei's attack had broken through his Aura Of Destruction.
Sirzechs stared at Issei as he started healing. His Aura Of Destruction reconstructed itself and it was back to before again.
Sirzechs looked at Issei. He swiped his hand, suddenly sending out a giant wave of the Power Of Destruction at him. Issei narrowed his eyes as he was completely engulfed by the attack.
He jumped out of it unscathed and golden lightning started crackling around his right hand.
"BLACK FLAASSSSSHHH!!!!!"
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!*
Sirzechs spat out blood again as Issei had punched through the defensive circles he cast and his Aura Of Destruction.
He was blasted back and crashed into the wall. He immediately recovered and sent out a powerful beam at Issei.
The beam was 3x more powerful than before, Sirzechs had been holding back. But Issei didn't care. He had hax from the start and he was going to exploit them as much as he wanted.
"Boost!!!"
Issei's power doubled as the attack consumed him once more. After that came the explosion and the smoke, Issei was revealed to be burned a little by the violent attack.
"I'm going to blow your mind again." Issei revealed and stretched out his right hand. He summoned the True Longinus, shocking the angels watching.
"The True Longinus! The one that pierced Jesus?! He's the owner now?!" Michael, Gabriel and the Church Trio looked at Elohim for more clarification
"Your technique is impressive, Sirzechs. But it does nothing against this baby." Issei smirked at his spear proudly.
" Boost!!! "
" Today, you will lose! " Issei declared before charging towards Sirzechs. Sirzechs widened his eyes a little and stopped the tip of the sharp spear from stabbing him with his right hand grabbing the pole of the spear.
Sirzechs hissed as he was getting a massive headache while holding down the spear. Issei growled as he kept pushing the spear forward.
"Boost!!!"
Sirzechs was starting to lose pretty quickly after Issei doubled his power again. Issei grinned as the holy spear broke through the Aura Of Destruction.
"Gaarr!!!" Sirzechs held back a pained scream as he was stabbed through the gut by then spear. Light Power was basically poison to Devils.
Sirzechs growled angrily and punched him violently.
*BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!*
The punch to Issei's face made the Angel-Devil hybrid spit out large amounts of blood and fly back.
Issei tumbled on the ground before stopping as he crashed into the wall, cratering it. Issei quickly recovered and healed whatever injuries he had with his newly acquired Light Power.
Sirzechs quickly healed up too and fired an enormous destructive beam at him. Issei gritted his teeth as he raised his True Longinus in a high stance with both hands.
"HAAAAA!!!!!"
Issei slashed the spear downwards sending out a large white crescent shaped blade that cut the bean straight in half.
The blade slammed into Sirzechs, almost cutting him in half. Sirzechs growled and slapped it away, sending it flying towards the wall of the arena.
He looked at Issei who was walking towards him menacingly. Sirzechs then entered a fighting stance.
Issei shook his head. "I'm getting tired, Sirzechs. Fusing with their blood and becoming an Angel-Devil hybrid is very tiring. It's only due to adrenaline that I could keep on going. Let's end this once and for all." Issei growled and stabbed his True Longinus to the ground.
"Boost!!!"
Suddenly, Issei appeared in front of Sirzechs and grabbed him. He slammed him onto the ground and stomped him on the face. He summoned large chains made out of Light Power from thin air.
The chains were larger than life and were as bright as the sun. He spun the chains around and threw them up to the air. The chains were blocked by the clouds.
"What's he doing?" Rias asked curiously while getting nervous as the seconds passed. Issei grinned as he threw the chains so that they were tied tightly to the True Longinus.
Issei jumped up to the air. Suddenly, there was a dark shadow that covered everyone. "Witness the Work Of God, Sirzechs!!!!"
Issei shouted while he was in God knows how high he was.
"BOOST!!!!"
"CHAINS OF GOD!!!"
Suddenly, two golden chain daggers as big as dragons spread apart the clouds and dove down towards Sirzechs. Sirzechs tried to fight it but he was suddenly tied up by a large amount of small golden chains that shot out of the True Longinus.
He looked at the chains with fear in his eyes. He hadn't felt this emotion in a very long time.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!*
There was a giant explosion that occurred where Sirzechs was. Suddenly, the golden chains all disappeared, revealing Sirzechs who had giant stab wounds on his chest.
"BOOST!!!!"
All of the sudden, the True Longinus unstuck itself from the ground and flew towards Issei's right hand.
Issei grabbed it and looked at Sirzechs with a expressionless gaze. His power had overtaken Sirzechs' by a large amount with his last two Boosts.
He raised True Longinus up high with one hand. Red and golden aura started spinning beautifully around the spear.
A crimson light started glowing at the tip of the spear. There was also lightning that was crackling around Issei and the spear too.
" This is not power of your own creation!!! Witness the birth of a God!!!"
Issei declared and pointed the spear at Sirzechs who could only stare at it.
"ENUMA... ELISH!!!!!!!"
