Chapter 4: Azazel Awakens

Isabella woke up with a start and rubbed her eyes, still feeling groggy from sleep. She turned her head to the side and saw a man sitting on the edge of her bed. For a moment, she couldn't move, her heart racing with fear.

Then she blinked a few times, and her eyes focused on the man sitting in front of her. He was tall and had an air of mystery around him, his features sharp and chiselled. His eyes were an unusual shade of green that seemed to sparkle in the dimly lit room.

As her mind cleared, Isabella realized that she had seen this man before. In her dreams. She couldn't believe it. How could the man from her dreams be sitting right in front of her?

"Who are you?" Isabella asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Isabella's heart was pounding hard in her chest as she stared back at Azazel. His eyes seemed to glow with an otherworldly intensity, and the air around him seemed to shimmer with power. She had never felt so afraid in her life.

"Who are you?" she repeated, trying to keep her voice steady.

Azazel's lips curled into a snarl, revealing sharp teeth that glinted in the dim light. "You know who I am," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Isabella grabbed a baseball bat, "I don't know anything," she said. As she tightened her grip on the bat. "Now tell me who you are and why you're in my house."

Azazel took a step forward, and Isabella felt her legs go weak. She tried to take another step back, but her feet wouldn't move. She was rooted to the spot, as if held by invisible chains.

Azazel began to walk around Isabella's room, with Isabella still rooted in a spot, holding onto the baseball bat tightly. He circled around her, his eyes blazing with fury as he muttered to himself.

"So, it was you that woke me up from my slumber," he said finally, turning to face her. Isabella was confused by what he was saying and stammered, still asking him who he was and how he got into her room.

Isabella's grip on the baseball bat tightened. "What are you talking about?" she demanded.

Azazel's eyes narrowed as he took a step closer to her. "You woke me up," he said slowly as if trying to make her understand. "And now, you have to break the curse."

Isabella was still confused, but the fear in Azazel's eyes was unmistakable. She could see the fury and desperation in his eyes and knew that she had to be careful.

Azazel muttered to himself, "If she can wake me up from my slumber, that means she can break the curse." He turned back to Isabella, his eyes blazing with fury. "Break the curse, or I will kill you," he thundered.

Isabella couldn't believe what she was hearing. She had no idea who he was, or what Azazel was talking about, let alone how to break any curse. She took a step back, still holding the baseball bat tightly in her hand.

"What curse? I don't understand," Isabella stammered, her voice trembling with fear.

Azazel's expression softened slightly, but the fire in his eyes remained. "The curse that has plagued me for centuries," he said, his voice now calmer but still filled with urgency.

"Who are you?" she repeated the third time.

Azazel's face was inches from hers now, and she could feel his breath on her skin. His eyes blazed with fury. "I am Azazel," he said. "And you are going to break this curse that has bound me for centuries."

" I don't know anything about the curse. Please just go", Isabella pleaded

Azazel got angry and held her by the neck, sweeping her feet off the ground. Isabella gasped for breath as Azazel's grip on her neck tightened. She struggled to speak as she wheezed, "I don't know anything about any curse or how to break it."

Azazel's eyes blazed with fury as he shook her roughly. "Liar!" he roared. "You must know! You woke me from my slumber.

Isabella gasped for air as tears streamed down her cheek. "Please let me go," she pleaded kicking her legs. With tears dropping on the pendant.

Suddenly, the pendant began to glow brightly, and Azazel let out a scream as he fell to the ground, clutching his head.

Isabella gasped in shock as she watched Azazel writhe in pain. The pendant continued to shine brightly, illuminating the room with its golden light.
