Chapter 2: Emma Sano
Tokyo, Japan
On a beautiful evening, many pedestrians are walking out of the office building one by one after finishing their daily work, some are going home to rest because they are too tired, some are having fun with their colleagues in the bar to relieve the stress because of their hellish job, and some are going to the park with their lover to interact and spend time together.
Meanwhile somewhere in the corner of a park, a handsome boy of 14 yo is walking slowly to a girl who looks the same age as the boy, with his hand in his pocket while thinking about something.
That's right, this boy is Novan, he is feeling nervous right now, don't look how handsome he talk to Takiwa before, but the reality is, he is panicking right now, what do you expect with a boy who never interacts much with a girl and now he not only going to talk with an unknown girl, even further as bad as to get her contact information, its just madness.
'Shit shit shit!!! Novan you moron, how dare you talk big while the facts your mentality is just a skinny chicken, shame on you!!' i say in my heart and mocking myself for being a coward.
While i silently complain about myself, i still walk forward to this woman,heyy..... it's no way, who told me to be so poor, if not for that 100.000 Yen and my financial difficulties i will never to this stupid move.
When Novan walks to this blond girl step by step, as the distance gets closer, surprisingly his mood starts to stabilize and there is no nervousness or anxiety on his face, which is a good thing in itself.
While Novan starts to think in his mind how to attract the attention of this girl, someone is having a hard time with herself.

Silently sitting alone in a corner, Emma is feeling depressed right now, the boy that she like never reply to her feeling, how many time she hints at him but he never responds, the only thing in his head is only Mikey Mikey and Mikey, which make her very upset, by the way, Mikey is her older brother which is funny right? there is a beautiful girl like me who loves and cares about him, but he never cast an interest in me which hurt my self-esteem.
do Draken really have no feeling toward me??? or does he already has someone he like? Emma asks herself with her low mood that gets worst and worst, when her thinking starts to get messed up, suddenly she hears the sound of someone walking towards her.
*Tap* Tap* *Tap*
The sound is a bit loud in this eerie silence, so Emma looks toward the source of the sound out of curiosity, because the evening is a bit dark and the direction where the sound coming from doesn't have too much light, she can only saw a silhouette of a person.
When the sound gets closer and closer, where the distance is about 2 meters away from her position, finally she can see clearly the face of this person.
That's right this person is Novan, when he look towards her what he see was her stunned face, besides that daze look on her face.....there was a faint blush on her cheeks?????
'Okay, so handsome..... it is much more handsome than Brother Mikey and Draken..... bah bah!! what are you thinking, control yourself Emma, you are not the kind of a girl who can't control herself when seeing a handsome boy, besides, you have someone you like you idiot' Emma scolded herself in her heart for being cheap, but then she remembers the last sentence that she said, making her mood slowly become sad.
Well, it's not Emma's fault to react like that, Novan face is simply a women's killer, with that messy gray hair, lazy but charming blue eyes, and slender body, it is simply a dream for all girls.
When Emma looked toward Novan, he is too secretly looking towards her, four eyes facing each other, there was an eerie silence, only the sound of a bird chirping, and a tree swaying, Novan coming to a halt just right in front of her, a few second passes and neither of both side spoke, so Novan bite the bullet and break this weird atmosphere.
"Helloo....." I say with an awkward smile on my face.
"Ohhh hii" Even though her heart is a mess, she still replies with a friendly smile on her beautiful face.
'Okayyy....what a sweet smile she has' i thought in a momentary daze, while hastily organizing my thought so as not to make a fool of myself in front of this girl.

After a few talks with her, Novan knows her name after she tells about herself, this girl's name is Emma Sano, and she is a freshman Junior school student who lives in Tokyo, right now she is waiting for her brother to pick her up in this park, while she is waiting boredly, it just so happened that Novan comes towards her and strike up a conversation with her, so there is this situation.
One thing to note is, Emma has a short stature and a feminine figure being fairly developed for her age. She had past shoulder-length honey blonde hair swept over her shoulder and large golden eyes, just 1 word can be described for her, Beautiful.

30 minute passed, and when Novan and Emma happily talking and laughing, suddenly a whoosh sound came beside Novan that he don't have time to react and hit him right in the head and send him flying 5 meters away from the chair that he sit.
*BOOM!!*
A muffled sound comes from his head while transmitting severe pains that he never experience, his body roll in the air and the worst part is, his head hit the concrete before barely stopping.
**BAM !!*
"Arrrghhhh!!!" i scream so loud that it cause the surrounding people to be shocked, while my head is in pain and my mind is dizzy, a panicked voice enters my ear.
"NOVAN-SAN!!!" Emma shouts in her panicked voice, while quickly trotting towards Novan with an anxious face.
Emma is extremely shock right now, when she and Novan is talking about a fun topic, suddenly she see Novan flying without knowing why, her concern consume her rationality to think, so she just run towards Novan who is lieing on the ground as fast as she could.
Even though they only know each other for a while, Emma has a good impression of him, and in her eyes, he is a gentle and funny person, which makes her feel relaxed just standing there beside him and hearing him talking about a funny thing.
Especially when her state is in chaos because of a failed love affair which lead to her heart being extremely lonely, it is very dangerous when women are in this state, because it is easy for them to open their hearts to a new person and make an impulsive decision.
'Huhhhh.....Emma....' i look towards the source of the voice but what i see is two Emma rushing towards me, maybe i been hit too hard that's why i got extremely dizzy, and when i try to stand up, my hands just don't listen to me, so i give up and lied in the ground, while silently try to sober up.
Just a few seconds passed, and Emma was already beside Novan and ask Novan a question with her anxious voice while touching Novan head with her soft white hand.
"Novan-san are you okay??? is your head hurt??? can you stand up??? do you need me to take you to the hospital??!!" one by one Emma throws a bomb question with a concerned face towards Novan, making Novan hardly give a chance to reply.
"Emma-san slow down slow down, I'm okay, it's just that i feel a bit dizzy, but overall I'm fine" i reply while trying to calm her down, but in my heart, I'm a little bit touched by her concern, even though they just met, she showed a side that concern about my safety.
"Are you sure?? but just be on the safe side i will call the ambulance for you okay??" Emma says with her hand in her mobile phone while hastily preparing to call the ambulance.
"Emma-san I'm really okay, calm down, i can stand up on my own now see?" i said while slowly trying to stand up even though my head is pretty hurt i still force myself up, so as not to make Emma more concerned.
"Are you sure??? but...." when Emma wants to say something else Novan cut her words off.
"Trust me Emma-san, I'm fine, if i feel something wrong with me, i will tell you right away" i reply with a smile while trying to calm her restless mood.
"Okay then...Thank God that you are okay.....you scare me to death just now Novan-san" Emma said with a sigh of relief.
"Hehehe Emma-san you're too overreacting but Thankyou for your concern Emma-san" A sunny smile appears on my face.
"What you call overreacting you Stupid!!!" Emma said with an angry look on her cute face while threatening to hit him with her cute fist.
"Hahahah yes yes.... it's my fault, forgive me Emma-san" i laugh at her somewhat cute expression.
While Novan and Emma talking with each other they forget someone who cause all this trouble, and this person coming towards them silently without them even noticing.
"Emma who is this?" a male voice coming behind Emma, making both Emma and Novan startled.
Suddenly Novan remember something important, that is, somebody silently hit him when he and Emma having a great time chatting together, the more he remembered the taste of the pain coming from that hit, the angrier he became, so he look towards the voice that probably the culprit who cause all of this.
What Novan see is a male teenager of below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only tied at the top with the hair on the sides moving freely, while wearing a black special attack uniform with his hand in his pocket walking towards them.
"Emma who is this??" The blond chibi boy asks again with a lifeless eye while looking towards Emma.
Before Emma replied, Novan cut her off with a heavy breath in his voice.
"Dwarf, are you the one who hit me??" i say while holding my breath to control my anger.
"Huhh???? what do you say???" The blond chibi ask Novan with a frown in his face
"DWARF, ARE YOU THE ONE WHO HIT ME??!!" i said with a few high pitched voices, i had been forcefully holding my anger but this dwarf keep looking at me like there was nothing wrong, which make me very angry.
"DO YOU WANT TO DIE??!!" The blond chibi replied with an angry face, he hated when someone talk about his height.
Just a new round of showdown is about to start, Emma voice came between them.
"STOPP YOU TWO!!!!"Emma screams to the two of them before they start making trouble again.
Novan and the blond chibi look towards Emma in unison and stop not making a further move, fearing that Emma will get angry if they have a tendency to start fighting, seeing that the situation is under control, Emma looks straight to her brother and ask.
"Brother, when do you arrive here?? more importantly are you the one who hit Novan-san before??" Emma looks at the blond chibi with a questioning and angry voice.
'Huhhh BROTHER?? this chibi boy is Emma brother? no matter how many times you see it, they did not look alike' i say in my heart while looking back and forth between Emma and this dwarf.
"Well, i just arrive a few minutes ago, and yes i am the one who kicks him flying" Chibi boy replies with a carefree attitude.
"Huhhh??? So you're the one who kicks me?? what is your fucking problem you shorty?!!" with an angry expression i walk towards this dwarf while clenching my fist and posing a posture that want to punch.
"Stop Novan-san, please calm down a second!!!" Emma hold Novan arm tightly so as to not make Novan move a tiny bit.
Novan looks toward her angry but pleading face and finally, slowly let go of his clenching fist.
'Heyyyyy....why you must put that angry but pitiful look....' i sigh in my heart but still give Emma a face.
Seeing that Novan is calming down, Emma feels relieved and asks her troublemaker brother a question.
"So brother can you explain why you hurting Novan-san??" Emma asked her brother with an angry look in her eyes
"Because he is pestering you, so i thought he is harassing you" Chibi boy reply while casting an angry look toward Novan.
'TMD!! Your mother is pestering you, your uncle is harassing you!!! i'm just chatting with Emma, how dare you accuse me of doing bad things!!' Novan thought angrily, but still did not do anything extreme for Emma sake.
And Emma here becomes speechless after hearing her brother answer, but still explained to her brother who got the wrong idea.
"Brother you misunderstood something, Novan and i are just chatting while waiting for you to pick me up, so it is just your wild imagination to think about this" Emma replied with a helpless smile at her older brother who misunderstood the whole situation here.
"Really???" with an uncertain look the chibi asks.
"Really!!!" Emma replied with a serious face.
"So hurry up apologize to Novan-san and don't do anything like this again before you are sure that what you see and hear is right" Emma says to her brother with an educated tone.
Seeing his younger sister like this and there will be many nagging coming soon, the chibi boy quickly apologizes to Novan.
"Okayy then... it's my fault, I'm sorry Novan-san for misunderstanding you for a person who harassed my sister, and I'm really really sorry for kicking you in the head Novan-san, i will compensate for your injury" The chibi boy bow 90 degrees to Novan with a sincere and slightly awkward voice.
