Chapter 2: Prologue

A being trapped in a prison of darkness, an endless expanse of nothingness. The walls were made of a strange, pulsating energy that seemed to feed on its own energy, slowly draining the being of his power. He felt his being shrink, his powers waning as he struggled against the confines of his prison. He had been trapped here for what seemed like an eternity, and he had tried everything he could think of to escape, but to no avail.

Despair began to set in as he felt his strength and power fading away. He was resigned to his fate, knowing that soon he would cease to exist. But then, in the final moments before his complete dissolution, he saw a glimmer of hope.

A distortion in the fabric of the prison caught his attention. It was a small, subtle shift, barely noticeable to anyone else. But to the being, it was a beacon of possibility. With the last of his strength, he mustered the courage to break out of his prison, saving himself from oblivion.
