Chapter 43: Day of Challenge: Part 2
The trumpets sounded and the families shouted their cheers. The students were divided into teams, the teams are then spawned in different locations in the labyrinth of the forest. Drones built by dwarves were sent out to view the teams in action, the drones are connected to a mana screen so that the families can see their children in action.
The goal for this is to either wipe out the other teams or to be able to reach the academy. The monster's levels depends on how close you are to the academy and 1 A-rank monster guards the entrance. The teachers are not to interfere since the students have the pendant which will teleport them if their injuries are life-threatening.

The teams were now spawned in random areas far away from the academy, it is estimated that it will take them three days to reach the academy even with 2 circle acceleration magic.
Delia and her team encountered D-rank monsters but they were able to deal with it easily. The dark mage students used their dark magic to move swiftly through the shadows. Ahren and his team encountered one of the other teams which led to a battle. Lyla and her team seems to be planning to reach the academy without battling with the other students.
I sent out my trusted Shadow Immortal to check the area since the teachers are not allowed to interfere, I couldn't sit still without thinking about the other possibilities that could cause harm to the students.

Back in the Augustus Town, a young man named Oliver was seen by the Asura brothers to have great potential in martial arts. They have decided to take him as their disciple to learn the arts of destruction fists. The village chiefs who recently moved in to the Augustus village along with the chief of the Augustus village then formed the new government of the new small city called the 'Round Table' that keeps the town in peace.
With the help of Maria, the 'Round Table' was able to give the families that had migrated to the town their own land for their farm and house. The new small city had enough funds due to the abundant crops and items that they sold to the city and to different noble families. Hephaestus have given his knowledge of blacksmithing to the townsmen so that they can produce weapons for the defense forces of the town.
The 'Round Table' had to decide a name for their new built city, it took a while but one of them made a name which everybody agreed on. The seventh chief of the 'Round Table', formerly the village chief of the Breos village, Dan'is said "Gloria, why not we name our new city which is blessed by the glorious gods "Gloria".

The students have decided to take camp since monsters are dangerous in the dark. The dark mage students also took their rest since they used up their mana. The monsters are now moving fast in the dark and are now attacking the teams near them but the monsters aren't the only ones that moved, my Shadow Immortal's hunger rises in the dark.
It feasted on the monsters without being seen by the drones, and it lost its ability to think properly when the moon's light shone upon its body. Upon knowing it, I gave it a restraint so that it wouldn't attack the students at night. At the next day, the second day of the event comes.
